1/4 cup granulated/castor sugar (50 grams)
200 grams sweetened condensed milk
1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (180 grams)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
pinch of salt (only if you are using unsalted butter)

Condensed Milk is sweet enough no need to add the extra sugar there.
Sugar with butter lends a high fat content to the dough. This yields a soft, buttery crumb that melts in your mouth.
@@narellewelsh-q8r can't you minus the extra sugar and just add butter.

Super cookies, but there might be an error in the recipe in the amount of flour when it was transferred in grams. 1 and 1/2 cups of all pp flour is 225g not 180g.
1 cup of all purpose flour is 120g. 1.5 cup is 180g is correct

You can use any good quality unsalted or salted butter available in your country. I have used Amul Butter available here in my country India. 👍
