      how different would be a recipe based on classic chrome (that also have the x100f) with the results on the x100v?, i have a x100f and i want to try them!

    Love them all but I have to give it up to Mike's recipe being the most useful for everyday shooting. Absolute gem going straight into my XP2!

    Agree. I only recently discovered Mike’s recipe and it’s great. Unlike most recipes, it does not feel gimicky, but it’s really useable in everyday life.

      i was wondering why the kojakgold wasnt looking right, i had it set to +1 1/3 EV instead of +1/3 🤦‍♂.
      do you know if there is a plug in or something to input fuji recipe settings straight into lightroom? would make the workflow must easier.

    Excellent video on one of my favorite topics. I particularly enjoy the inclusion of your photos to illustrate the recipes. Would you mind telling me how you make the white border/frame? All the photos displayed are very uniform in size, etc. Please keep the videos coming...

      The white board isn’t actually a part of the photo at all! it’s done at the video editing stage. It’s literally a white box the same shape as the image increased in scale a little
      For socials I used the app unfold to add borders

    Great video, thanks for sharing your favorites! But Roman's recipe is MINUS 4 though😅 funny because you say how you like the plus four colour setting, but on his website it certainly says minus, if I'm correct.

    I get the decision to go AWB, and I tend to do so. But when you're trying to impose limitations on yourself (for fun's sake!), it also makes sense to do a fixed WB, like analog film stock.

      You’ll only be able to input some of the settings, and I think you’ll have to remember the offsets or write them down

      Key in as many settings as you can! A few will be missing so it won’t be exact but should be somewhat close

    One question. Mh when the camara is set in a different language Nc is the same as Classic Negative? Can I use these recipes in the Fuji Converter also on RAWs? Or is there a possibility to save those in Lightroom too? Thanks for helping… 😊

    The work in comparing all of these recipes and crediting the creators is fantastic.
    I am biased in picking Roman Fox's recipe this time cause I love his channel and learned so much from his work, but the Kojack also really got my eye. I love green tint :D

    I'm running a X-S20 and I never know whether to use the recipes (on Fuji-X Weekly) that are designed for the X-Trans 4 or 5....
    Just because it has the older sensor, but the newer processor.... 🤷‍♂

      There are subtle difference between the recent cameras, but recipes look similar I hear. The fun in is the testing and finding out which looks suit you, adjusting them if you feel the need

      The metering mode is entirely up to you and what you’re shooting, has little to do with the colours
      Most of the recipes have what exposure compensation to use in the description

    If only Fuji would address how much slower these recipes make the camera. The sight of 'processing' makes me just go back to shooting RAW.

    This all seems good and well but whenever I use any sort of custom recipe the speed of my camera slows down immensely. I’m running on the x100v and I can’t shoot with out the “storing” message popping up. Anyone know why or how to fix?

    Have to admit I bought the Xt5 due to the recipes but still prefer to edit my own in Lightroom. The recipes just aren’t that great. Everything I see just seems average.

      I think my opinion is that I like the fact I have the JPEGS for a quick share to socials, I do however still edit most of my photos in lightroom! It’s not a replacement for editing more of an additional option

      @@Goughie Agree. I think I was just hoping for more as I already own a Nikon Z6. I thought I would use the film simulations more and the recipes but I just end up editing the RAW file. Oh well still a great camera to carry around.

      @@hussamjamal8675 film sims come with the fuji cams. You can tweak the settings in camera for the recipes.
