i like this setup, very convenient, couple questions if i may.1) is the EGC by code required to be continuous?and if so wouldn't installing on ground bar then breaking continuity? 2) are the terminals on the ground bar irreversible? 3)what are the dimensions of box( for example if i chose to install a with for example) 4) is they a vertical mounting option?
It looks like it's a 2 gang weatherproof box that you can get at home depot. I bet they made these boxes in house by adding the bus bar and the stainless bracket. They probably stopped offering them after finding out how much time the boxes where taking to produce.
Andy Sontag I thought I updated my comment. Guess I forgot. I talked with them and they don't offer the j-box. They suggested buying the gang box and bus bar at Homedepot and build it yourself.
First that will not pass inspection. Needs to be water proof junction box. Will need a lip around the top for extra protection. If you use a standard outdoor rated box like this and your inspector knows the right solar codes you will not pass
Very clear and helpful clip. Thanks

Weep holes need something to break the water tension. Usually a cotter pin through the hole and bent up on the low side will do the trick.
I went to gogreensolar's website but couldn't find this jbox or the fittings that can be used with it. Google isn't any help either....
Same problem. I would like to find it.

Thank you.
