I watched this video at 9 this morning and ever since then I've been practicing all day. It is now 9 at night and I got it down!! Crazy what practice could do for someone. I suggest everyone learn a move a day.
Glad he pulled out a deck that's six years old. New to this, saw many comments on Reddit saying you really can't use a clumped deck. Definitely gonna get fanning powder at some point, but I've been doing stuff on this clumped deck (with a new one on the side that I use less, to correct movements on). Definitely possible, but harder to do, but also, I've been finding that if I can do it on a clumped deck, I can do it on normal cards, and anything I can't do, is best tried out on a newer set of cards. Also, clumping has kinda made it nicer for me in the sense that I can just fiddle with cards in the background while doing other things and not be excessively worried that they'll drop and I have to pick them up over and over.
Ok you guys make the best tutorials around youtube.... The best quality.... The best details..... And best tutors..... So i want your guys advice..... I've been doing cardistry for a year and a half now.. I can do and learn pretty much the complex stuff but..... Am stilling having trouble with basics... After all keep it up guys you're the next dan and dave haha
wow dude, so thankful for you kindness. The encouragement really helps!! We'll definitely try and do some videos on helping you with those moves!! I can definitely give you one tip that'll help with the deck flip though... the cards actually stay together better if the cards are not squared up perfectly. I know it sounds weird but just try it. (: riffle shuffle and then don't square them up perfectly, you'd be surprised at the results
Well i tried but still doesn't work... Thanks anyway..... And oh i love you guys and keep up the great work... You somehow make tutorials better than some dvds out there.... I swear I remember seeing card moves like this Anaconda Dribble since I was a child in the 90s and you guys make it seem like it's some new move. Idk whether to believe my memories or these claims...
Every time sb asks me what i'm doing while training the Anaconda, i show a pic from your Instapage and say: I train to beas good as them...and now your making a hight quality tutorial....GREAT 🙂🙋
It was actually posted by one of the Virts a few years ago. Maybe he deleted it but it was ABSOLUTELY posted previously so don't feel bad or apologize for any reason. Whoever posted it must've had a reason for doing so. MANY THANKS! Agreed, this only helps the Cardistry Community learn & grow.
Great tutorial; very thorough. I just started learning this technique, but I think you may have (inadvertently, of course) left out one small detail when you describe the grip. I only bring this up because it helped me quite a bit (and will perhaps help other beginners), and that is beveling the cards before releasing them. As you can see at 1:52, the back edge of the cards are angled toward the thumb, while the front edge of the cards are all angled toward the pinky. This makes releasing one card at a time much easier (especially for a novice like me), as opposed to having the cards square. One problem I am having, however, is that my middle and ring fingers tend to 'get in the way' and after a few single cards of dropped. The cards don't fall unimpeded, but I'm not sure how to adjust my grip as I release cards with my thumb. Any advice?
thats a great point! I forgot to mention that! and hmmmmmm try and make sure that those fingers are barely overhanging off the edge. just like how my hand is barellyyyy holding onto the cards
when you're releasing the cards one at a time try rolling your middle index and pinky finger back towards the top of the pack so the cards don't get stuck on them
You're the man! Appreciate you putting this out for the newcomers, I'm about to buy my first deck in this upcoming month (stuck with shitty 2$ cards because in my country all of the uspc decks are double or triple the price) so winning the giveaway would be cool! Keep it up!
This was a fantastic tutorial, much respect for explaining the clear conscience behind the tutorial and for presenting it so well. As far as a giveaway that would be phenomenal I've always wanted that deck.
I wanted to learn this so bad a long time ago but once I got to the virts website they ran out of cards and I didn't had money at the time. thank you so much for making this tutorial!
I would love a new deck. I am building my collection and been using what I learn on here to show the kids I work with. Keep up the great work it is much appreciated!

And also, what's the benefit of having your index extended out while doing a dribble? I find it uncomfortable and unnatural, tried to do the riffle fan that way watching Dmitri's video itself and weeks went by with no improvements, I started to curl my index in and can now riffle fan pretty decently after about a month and a half, I notice my cards usually falls everywhere on my hands because a card hits the card that dropped before it and just flies out randomly, is my index finger's position and this related? ( Tried with index extended and curled, same results with the catch ).
More tips: Might be personal, but I find doing an anaconda in the opposite direction of the deck's bow is easier and makes for a better anaconda (generally, whatever way the cards are stiffer, the easier it is). When comfortable, you can start your anaconda at chest height and also drop your receiving hand. @@samjones583 What? Take the sybil cut for example, If you do that with plastic cards you'll definitely be left with scratches on your middle and pinky fingers. Do you practice cardistry? Just curious.

Very nice tutorial ... too bad im.just now seeing this today cuz there isn't much i wouldn't do for one of them decks lol... so about the anaconda I have trouble if extending my index finger it feels wrong like I feel more accurate with my index finer along the side of the deck vs. Extended on top... but the way you demonstrated it is how everyone else has as well... great details 9n explanation bro thanks for sharing
i seems to hold on to tight with my littlefinger , ring and middlefinger cause the cars wont fall but sticks to the top on my grip... does it make sense? and when i try they fall in big clumps
for the grip for the dribble, im still having trouble fully releasing the cards, like the top part of the cards do not fall but the bottom half does, is it because of the position of my middle and ring finger?
Really nice tutorial. Just found your channel and i really like it. Also pretty nice idea to put a small outline at the beginning of the video. Helps alot to jump to the single steps. And I would love to have a Virtuoso Deck.
This is very late Lol, but when I attempt to do an anaconda, some cards lay facing upwards, meaning the opposite direction they are supposed to. Idk what I'm doing wrong, help plz.
Just a perfect vidéo. I live in France but your tutorial just help me a lot for cardistry ! I hope win the virtuoso deck ( SS14 maybe? ) to complete my card collection 👌 please keep going on your YT Channel, you're good!
I struggled with this move until I realized I was using too much power by springing the cards too much with my thumb. Once I started letting the cards fall on their own, and only using my thumb to release them and let them fall, the move really started to take shape. So much fun to do. Every now and then one card will fly out at random. I'm thinking of trying this with only 51 cards. That should keep that from happening, Right? LOL!🤣🤣🤣
Hey Rise magic, i have problems with my dribble. I still drop some piles by 3-5 cards and not one by one. I do cardistry with the Tally ho circle back, so the Deck is not bad. Can you give me some tipps for the dribble, it would be really helpfull. Thank you Guys, your the Best.
hmmmm, you're going to want to make sure your thumb is sideways, after that, move that thumb up as slow as possible to have only one card release at a time. If they still arent coming off one at a time, try fiddling with the pressure you are applying with your index. Thanks so much for your comment and for watching!
Okay, so I'm just starting in cardistry and I'm having trouble letting the cards actually fall. They'll still be trapped in between the deck and my middle ring and pinky finger. Any tips to help prevent that?
Thank you so much for the tip! One thing though... I've been practicing this for a while now and the main problem I face is that when I get higher than 6 inches, the card won't do the s thing and it'll just flip over in mid air. I noticed you bending the cards in the video as you let them off but it seems like it gives the cards too much spin/rotation in my experience. Please help!!😪(p.s this comment is really long and I'm sorry but I think it's really cool that you respond to every comment!)
no problem dude! I can try my best to help... I really think you need to focus on having a lighter touch when releasing. It may look like im bending the cards.... but in reality, it's a very gentle riffle and pull upwards with you thumb, so that the cards gracefully fall on by one
Hi! Watched a lot of your vids, always struggled with the anaconda, but this has sure helped! Struggling to get the length on it... Haha. Virts are sick too, I have ss14,15,16. You so lucky to have launch edition! Not jealous I promise.. Ok a little! Keep it up.. The fact your quick to the point is also great!

I have some issues with the catching, it most likely will fall off to my hand or stay in a very clumpy way, I'm using the straddle grip for catching it, any suggestions?
And also, what's the benefit of having your index extended out while doing a dribble? I find it uncomfortable and unnatural, tried to do the riffle fan that way watching Dmitri's video itself and weeks went by with no improvements, I started to curl my index in and can now riffle fan pretty decently after about a month and a half, I notice my cards usually falls everywhere on my hands because a card hits the card that dropped before it and just flies out randomly, is my index finger's position and this related? More tips: Might be personal, but I find doing an anaconda in the opposite direction of the deck's bow is easier and makes for a better anaconda (generally, whatever way the cards are stiffer, the easier it is). When comfortable, you can start your anaconda at chest height and also drop your receiving hand. This makes for an easier and larger anaconda, minimises the effect raising your dribble arm has on the anaconda (also kinda has this kind of snake jaws opening and fangs and everything motif, which is cool). And a bit of a variation of what he does in this video, you can tilt your hand upwards instead at the peak of the anaconda so when the last card leaves your hand, every card is faced outwards and makes for a more visually appealing anaconda.

Really nice tutorial. Just found your channel and i really like it. Also pretty nice idea to put a small outline at the beginning of the video. Helps alot to jump to the single steps. And I would love to have a Virtuoso Deck.
really happy you're enjoying the channel and the format of our videos!!! we'll keep you posted on the giveaway
I hope win the virtuoso deck ( SS14 maybe? ) to complete my card collection 👌 please keep going on your YT Channel, you're good!
we'll keep going as long as you keep watching! thanks so much!

Finally a good tutorial about anaconda. Thank you so much.
no problem dude! I'm glad you found it useful.
I HAVE cheap lancer cards... can i do it with them? They are pretty old but the condition is not too bad.
I've been looking for the red verts everywhere. A giveaway would be pretty dope!
noted... we'll probably do the giveaway on Instagram
I watch a lot anaconda tutorial before but I think this is the best one ! I always afraid of dropping card when I mover my hand higher
thanks so much! and if I'm ever showing someone the anaconda I never really make it over 3 feet tall... to ensure i dont drop any cards
Does this work if you dribble differently
nope
Rise Magic ok thanks👌🏼
@@chandler_henry when I relice the gard from my thumb it gets stuck on my midle finger
you guys are getting bigger in RUclips
slowly but surely!
I was waiting this movement! 😄
Okay, so I'm just starting in cardistry and I'm having trouble letting the cards actually fall. They'll still be trapped in between the deck and my middle ring and pinky finger. Any tips to help prevent that?
try and make sure there is as little overhang as possible. they should be BAAAAAARRREly holding on to the cards
Ok thanks! I'll keep working and I hope I'll be able to do it as well as you guys some day! (Maybe I should try a new deck of cards...)🤔
great tutorial thank you very much for showing it.
No problem John! Thanks for watching

Hey guys, I really like your channel. The instructions in your tutorials are very clear and I like the overview at the beginning of each video. You deserve more subscribers and I am sure you will get them in the near future. You don't have to send me the virts; shipping to Germany is expensive I guess. :D
Many greetings!
thanks so much! it is seriously so cool to us that someone would watch our videos from Germany!! That's such a kind thing to say, but if you win, we'd be happy to pay.

Did you get permission from Bone and virts ?
Edit : Read the description. I guess that's fine
