- The P.F. Chang’s story begins with the unlikely venture of co-founder Phillip Chiang into the culinary world. With his mother’s authentic recipes as inspiration, he teamed up with restaurateur Paul Fleming to create, to their own surprise, a Chinese food phenomenon.

Yes everyone knows PF changs isn’t “real” Chinese food, but as a Chinese person who always wanted my western friends to try out my restaurants, PF changs actually introduced them to Chinese food - which then led them to try out successively more authentic stuff

I'm glad P.F. Chang's continues Cecilia's legacy, but OKC where I live has a huge Asian District with several top notch Cantonese, Hunanese, Viet, Thai and now Korean places for the authentic taste.
Westerners don't like the taste of authentic Chinese food. That's why your Chinese ancestors when they arrived in the West changed their recipes to satisfy the Western palette.

Your food is so delicious! We love to go to your restaurant and also love your frozen dinner entrees as well. My favorite is the Hot and Sour Soup, do you ever think that it will be made available as a frozen entree to buy in stores?

Best food ever I tried the spicy salmon roll it felt like an adventure of flavors it's like the food mesmerized me and made me just want more

I had PF chang’s for the first time in 2020 in Hawaii and I love it so much even than the Chinese food in Japan. I hope one day they can open one in Japan.

they tried to open a PF Chang's here in the Philippines several years ago, it shut down after a year. it was expensive mediocre asian food. only westerners fall for that stuff lol

The problem with P.F. Chang's is it caters to "Gwai Lo." There are no Chinese people eating there! Even in this RUclips video, outside of the Chiang family, there are no Guangdong yun eating there! Shame on P.F. Chang's for selling out on their own people!

You shouldn’t be CHARGING EXORBITANT PRICES, for your dishes, in a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, like Guyana.
The NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE, WAS PRICED MORE EXPENSIVE, THAN THE ALCOHOLIC🤷🏻♀️
Also, for 4 simple dishes, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, 3 non-alcoholic, & 1 alcoholic beverage….i paid around, $230 USD, EXCLUDING TIPS!

Another over hyped restaurant with subpar food and service. I went there twice and both times, I was disappointed with the bad service, long wait time and mediocre food. It makes me wonder if whoever is cooking back there truly knows what real Chinese food taste like. Needless to say, I never went back again.

It's not supposed to be authentic Chinese food. When you're in a western country you have to cater to western taste buds.

Indeed. The environment was nice, and the presentation of the food was executed well, but the food at the stony point richmond location was mediocre especially for the price.
