Do I compliment them back? Will they think I'm hitting on them if I do? Will they think I'm complimenting them because I think I have to and I'm not being sincere? Will they be offended if I don't? What if they're hitting on ME and if I compliment them back they'll think they have a chance with me so they'll give me another compliment? I can't handle another one, I'm still trying to process the first one
