    Just got mine built yesterday. Have raced the .3 for 7 yrs. What I noticed on your laps is. Get the momentum you need to make the jump. Let off at the lip of the jump. That will settle the SCT down and it will allow the rear to raise up. Which will stop the nose diving and the front to not raise up in the air. Its raising up cause you have to much throttle. Try it and you and other racers will thank me. SCT is my bread and butter. Love my EB48 2.1 and ET48 2.0.

      Ok, I'll try that, thanks. Do you think cutting air vents/holes into the body is needed? It benefited 2wd but thought maybe the 4x4 was heavy enough for it to not matter.

      @@AMain_Hobbies_2 oh for sure. Cut out vents that is recommended and definitely add the air guards. The body is good.HF2. Will say I've been really happy with the Losi body. My go to for 5+ yrs was the JC F250 HD body but they're discontinued.

    Is there any chance you can tell me if the spektrum 3200kv motor fits in this truck? I'm hoping to transfer the electronics from my vorteks into one. It looks like it could handle the power way better while being 10x as durable. Vorteks lives on the bench most of the time. Lol

    • @AMain_Hobbies_2
      @AMain_Hobbies_2  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, that should bolt right up! The Vorteks 3S BLX motor and ESC would be a good fit in this truck for 2S and 3S use.

      Stock spur with a 20T pinion I believe.

      We used this Hobbywing Max 10 Motor/ESC unit: www.amainhobbies.com/hobbywing-ezrun-max10-g2-140-amp-sensored-brushless-waterproof-esc-3665sd-hwa38020343/p1455071
      That 2400kv motor makes the system 2-4S compatible.
      Also used the aluminum cased Ecopower 250T servo: www.amainhobbies.com/ecopower-wp250t-brushless-waterproof-high-torque-metal-gear-servo-ecp-250t/p1466471
      For battery, it was a 3S Gens pack; I think this: www.amainhobbies.com/gens-ace-3s-lipo-battery-60c-11.1v-5500mah-gea3s550060e5/p1336149

      @@AMain_Hobbies_2 I'm also intrigued by the 2-4s capable HW2400Kv. I would assume a smaller pinion gear would be necessary if I wanted to race it versus bashing it? Thanks, and I truly appreciate the effort you guys put into your videos!

    • @AMain_Hobbies_2
      @AMain_Hobbies_2  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@davidconaway2830 Yeah, it would require some gearing changes to race. I believe 4WD SCT race on 2S so I'm guessing you'd want to gear up.
      It's a good ESC/Motor combo though.

      The initial investment to buy electronics can be expensive, but once you have them, you can transfer them from kit to kit. If you're just starting out and need every component, it's pricey, but for those that already have electronics, buying the kit alone isn't too bad.
