How to LOWER your Ford TRANSIT mk7 rwd

Today we lower the mk7 ford transit rwd with a lowering kit from mod your connect, an easy mod you can do from home. Once lowered make sure to check rear diff pinion angle is the same as gear box out shaft for smooth vibration free driving, for this van a 2 degree shim was added to the diff to match the gearbox angle of 1.3.

Looking good Niko, it’s got a good stance now, don’t know how you gonna be going over the gazillion humps that we’ve got in Melbourne though hahahaha.
My problem is the opposite than yours, I need it to sit a bit more higher due to that it’s loaded with tools and parts and my tow bar always scores the driveway entry concrete.

Nik i'm losing my ability to walk. I can no longer drive and had to move in a new house that was handicap friendly. At this time I have a 2017 lowered truck and I'm using a walker. My son must lift both my legs up and put then into the truck. The next phase is a lowered van with a lift for a wheelchair. We started looking into this next and phase and wow it is very costly,

When you said you need to take your torch under the dash to cut the sound deadener my dumb American brain thought you were going to grab a oxy acetylene torch to cut it out and not a "flashlight" torch. Great work!

Yep straight on with no issues, completely transformed the van, no more sloppy drive feel.
