I'm a home depot kinda gal, just like my hubby and my Pops. But it's whatever everyone's shopping preferences are. You're doing a great job, congratulations on your home.
From a general contractor, my opinion is that Lowe’s is for the diyers, and Home Depot is for the pros. This is why you will find more home goods and decoration like items at Lowe’s then you will at Home Depot.!
Lowes is the superior store. I can always find a lumber cart. Employees don't avoid eye contact and the stores are generally more pleasant to be in. Plus Lowes offered a veterans discount for almost 25 years. HD just started in 2021. Finally my daughter worked at HD. And to reward her for getting forklift certified and working harder than everyone else in the department, they constantly short shifted when she was working. She ended up being routinely yelled at by 60 year old contract drivers because she was unable to keep up with the delivery staging and forking onto their teucks. She was 18.
Home Depot delivery for appliances is phenomenal. They are always so perfect, on time, calls before arrival, top knotch communication. But in store, I shop Lowe’s😂
Home Depot is for Personal DIY projects. I feel it's more for Homeowners who need help with what they're doing. They carry cheaper tools and will cut down lumber for you. Lowe's is for professionals. You have to know what your doing and what you need. Sometimes employees have enough experience to advise you. The quality is better and the bulk prices are worth it for big projects.
Home depot is good for mainly just lumber, dewalt, Milwaukee or Husky tools. (idk if thats everywhere but my homedepots only carry these brands. Lowes is good for random stuff and they carry more brand names like Bosch and Makita
Lowe’s has more for finishes and HD has more for rough install! I will say that Lowe’s premium 2x4s are wayyyyyyyyy straighter than anything you’ll find in HD. By me anyway
We did that on our deck and it's completely surrounded along with cabana curtains 0 and then I decorated it it's beautiful it's decorated with butterflies
I used to like Lowe's every time I go there when I push the help button no one ever comes so I just started going to home Depot they're more helpful there
Home Depot is better. Lowe's overcharges far more for niche items. The tool selection at Lowe's is also much lower quality with far less options. I don't care either way, I just find that Lowe's misses the mark far more often
I price match between the two, but Lowes is also closer for me. (For lumber, I skip both and go to Menards - better selection of unwarped lumber). I need some of these shades for my enclosed porch, they look good!
I think moving them to the outside was a good call!! Those look great!
Lowe's is more for homeowners and Home Depot is more for builders. I used to go both places.
Don’t disagree, though Home Depot’s wood sucks
Lowe’s is for the DIY and Home Depot for contractors.
Good call, it looks cleaner on the outside.
The shades look good ❤
Menard’s-11% rebates.
I'm a home depot kinda gal, just like my hubby and my Pops. But it's whatever everyone's shopping preferences are. You're doing a great job, congratulations on your home.
Love this
Both stores cool and it’s looking fantastic.
Lowe’s!
Home depot. Milwaukee is there. That alone is enough for me to shop there. Plus, I like the stock.

You’re doing an awesome job. TY for sharing ❤️🇨🇦
Lowe’s
It fits perfectly 👍
Well done sir.

I would do it for the empty one on the left too
I’m a Lowe’s girl for no other reason than customer service. For whatever reason, every Home Depot I’ve been to has been not great in that regard
coming from a home depot worker, always Lowes for appliances. everything else, hd because it’s convenient hahaha
I like that!
Either is fine with me, I have both within 5 minutes of each other. I tend to compare prices and also item availability.
Literally exactly what I’m looking for a rv window
We got Menards and Fleet Farm around here 😂😂
Home Depot delivery for appliances is phenomenal. They are always so perfect, on time, calls before arrival, top knotch communication. But in store, I shop Lowe’s😂
Home Depot
They look good. Easy to install too 😊
Lowes
Home Depot, no question.
Lowe’s appliances
HD for everything else. There’s actually workers there to help without searching 16 aisles like Lowe’s
Perfect
If you're a veteran lowes all the way 🤘
Home Depot has the veterans discount as well and much easier to use at checkout.
Every time I use Lowe's Veteran's discount, I'm bombarded with ROBO calls. Is corporate selling Veteran's phone numbers?
Looks good
Looks great!
Wow! That looks great! ❤❤❤
I'm definitely a Lowe's gal. Love your blinds. You just gave me an idea for my porch. Thanks for the great work.
You have really done a great job on that house!❤
Home depot
Lowes for sure! 1/4 mile down the road from me!
I work at Lowe’s. I’m proud.
Lowe’s for lumber and wood Home Depot for just about everything else
I love Lowe's. I'm a plant parent. I have gotten most of my plants from the 50% off discount rack.
Had those upstairs on a split home loved them
I don’t see anything at Lowe’s that cheap for one of those.
Lowes. They still offer military discounts.
Home depot does as well.
Home Depot does too and they’re cheaper.

Personally, whatever is closest.
Lowe's
Lowes, Periodt
Lowe’s definitely ❤ great job on the house. You all should be very proud of yourselves 🎉
What a handsome man! The shades are pretty good, too!
Excellent deal. The back porch looks great.
Home depot is good for mainly just lumber, dewalt, Milwaukee or Husky tools. (idk if thats everywhere but my homedepots only carry these brands. Lowes is good for random stuff and they carry more brand names like Bosch and Makita
Great job and wonderful reuse. Too many people are throwing things away that could be used.
Re use? He bought them new lol
"$40 well spent..." Was his closing quote.
Bro went to Lowe's, they were at $20 a piece.
Home depot os where you rough out your home, lowes is where you buy all the fixtures, trim, etc..
Lowes!
I don’t see any shades at Lowe’s for $20, can anyone find a link? All over a hundred here
When it comes to Lowe's, you can find some good deals for odd jobs but he probably bought some shades that were discontinued or on clearance.
I see some cheaper options but they all look terrible and you're looking at about $80 for something decent.

Lowe's for most
Lowe’s all the way❤
This is off topic but i like the black sweats with white sneakers. 😂😂 strange comment but you gave me a reason to wear white sneakers again😂
Lowe's all the way
Home Depot ❤
Lowe’s has more for finishes and HD has more for rough install! I will say that Lowe’s premium 2x4s are wayyyyyyyyy straighter than anything you’ll find in HD. By me anyway
I don’t know what the size of these shades are but I just checked the Lowe’s by me in New York and they are 106/piece
Yeah I have no idea where he is to get them for $20. In Georgia they are $100/each also.
Home Depot = Walmart
Lowes = Target
😂😂
Except that Home Depot is exorbantly expensive.
What’s better is which one is closest to your place
I bet they look really good with the new bench he just made.
We did that on our deck and it's completely surrounded along with cabana curtains 0 and then I decorated it it's beautiful it's decorated with butterflies
Lowe’s 1000%
I used to like Lowe's every time I go there when I push the help button no one ever comes so I just started going to home Depot they're more helpful there
Home Depot when I’m alone. Lowes when I take the family.
Perfect 👍
Brace them in the middle. Speaking from experience
Nice
Lowes always seems to have more convenient locations. Homedepot has far superior tools nd quality lumber imo
Convenience defiantly, both same pattern just different color-cloth.
Lowe’s is good for cheap home owner things Home Depot is big projects
Love them. What are the dimensions?
yeah they look nicer
Home Depot for sure and I used to work at Lowe’s so my bias doesn’t count 😂
Nice👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Very nice
Home Depot. It’s hard to find someone to help you when I go to Lowe’s.
If lowes had ryobi id never need to go to home depot.
Homedepot for sure. None of the employees at lowes know what they’re doing or what they’re talking about
Nice!
What are those called? I would love to get some for my porch. 😊
What is the name of the product please? I would like to buy for my patio!!
Cheap means it prolly not gonna last long
Lowes is better!
lol u can see the paint on the brick peeling away like everyone said in the comments of that one vid
We use blue tarps in Ukraine
Home depot ! Lowes you can not find anyone to help you for anything, especially being handicapped
Home Depot is better. Lowe's overcharges far more for niche items. The tool selection at Lowe's is also much lower quality with far less options. I don't care either way, I just find that Lowe's misses the mark far more often
Lowe’s definitely overcharges. That’s why I choose to shop from Home Depot now.
HD is for us common folk. Lowe’s is for the aristocracy 😂
Lowe’s is definitely better
Home Depot is cheaper.
I price match between the two, but Lowes is also closer for me. (For lumber, I skip both and go to Menards - better selection of unwarped lumber).

HD
The walls look moldy
