Talking about injuries should be banned. It’s skateboarding, everyone is always hurt. We don’t need details about surgeries while trying to watch a skate contest
I find a very annoying that they don't even tell you exactly which skater is which, while announcing them at the beginning. SMH. Poor quality

It’s pure skill not really a disadvantage weather male or female.
But then again I don’t skateboard
100% men have an advantage with muscle mass when higher airs lead to higher scoring and difficulty. With that said, I’m sure a lot of these girls would perform well in a lot of amateur Vert contests even against men.
One reason is that women don't often get the same support (sponsorship, travel reimbursements, etc) that men do and that makes it tough to put in the time. That said, the women are killing it and within a year or two, it'll look even crazier.

@@joehenry9546 I doubt that muscle mass is a factor, some male vert riders turned pro when they were little skinny groms (read Hawk's biography!). I'd say it's mainly society (we don't know how many girls still get discouraged by parents or peers) and statistics (smaller female population means less prodigies).
I'm sorry, but it's like watching 12 year olds skate vert. These women are getting credit for basic tricks

@@jspaulding4106 And doing insane stuff. Nothing about her runs was basic in any way. I would say a couple of the women weren't the best, but most of them were excellent and not just "because they're women / girls." And the ones that weren't the best, it was just an off day because I've seen them do MUCH better elsewhere.
