Guys... no one has pointed this out but if Sonic goes super. Then metal will go super too. Lemme explain We saw that sonic's quill goes super when he goes too. So basically if metal sonic was made using sonic's quill which for sure. Then if Sonic goes super in the movie. Metal will too.

I looked it up and Sonic 4 is gonna be based on Sonic cd and if egg man did survive I think he used rings to do it or shadow probably teleported to egg man and to earth in time I don’t know
Metal Sonic has to be from the future since Ivo Robotnik Eggman didn't have time to create that robot before helping Gerald Robotnik also could Amy Rose be also from the future since she took down those robots with ease

Spoiler alert robotnic kills tails.tails decides to play hero trying to save sonic and the rest of the gang. When robotnic gets sonic.he tourtures him first. He kills all of sonics friends turns the rest of the citizens into robots.the only reason metal trys to kill sonic everytime is cause if he kills sonic he does not exist and his future wont be bad.but if sonic kills him he will in his future later on.
