I think it's just a prototype design for movie 3 since they had to put him in the end credits. They'll tweak his design in the fourth movie similar to how Shadow in movie 2 was originally just Sonic's model but with different colors and raised quills

honestly i feel like silver is a LOT further away from what your thinking. they need time to build up more of these characters and actually get you invested, not shoving a billion things into the 5th movie. silver seems way more like an 8th or 9th movie character to me
I think sonic 4's filming will be in Japan too solely just for the race. (if that ever happens). Why? Well, japan is one of the country with the most festival count.. I can already see sonic and metal racing each other on a festival night in japan.. Its rather.. strange isnt it??
I agree with everything you’ve said except for the Chaotix. I feel like they should be introduced in Knuckles Season 2 as a way of not overcrowding the fourth movie. Plus, Knuckles Chaotix.
Sega and Paramount have said they are interested in making a Shadow spin off movie, and that is very likely to happen, of course Shadow survived the events of the movie, the fact that Shadow comes from a meteor gives a good chance that Black Doom exists in this universe, they already made a spin off with knuckles, and Shadow is just so popular that they would be stupid not to make a spin off
It better be a movie though. I feel like Knuckles failed because of the smaller budget, leading to him barely being in certain episodes. Shadow is a big enough character that he deserves a movie. Who’s with me!?!

Sonic 4 title card starts Beginning: sonic meets Amy and introduces her to the team + Maddie and Tom , sonic tries to look cool for her and impress her (while tails is jealous ) 2nd part : Amy reveals her past and her tarot card reading and makes a bunch of predictions that comes true and tails gets jealous because he’s afraid Amy is taking is spot Middle part : metal sonic decided to build an army with a bunch of them and Amy tells sonic about the time stones (including tiny planet ) 2nd middle part : they all go on a non earth adventure trying to find a way to destroy metal sonic and his gang Plot : they get the idea of trying to time travel back to the time eggman was in the ark and save him and tell him all about metal sonic Rising action : they all come up with a plan to stop metal sonic but metal then kidnaps Amy (tails is a bit happy but guilty) Sonic finds a way to save her before metals sonic gets destroyed ( I have a feeling metal sonic will self destruct and try to kill himself + Amy rose but sonic saves her The team is A-ok and eggman is somewhere hiding or wtv sonic confidently tries to ask Amy out on a date Since super sonic wasn’t in sonic CD I have a feeling that super sonic shouldn’t be in the 4th movie since he wasn’t in the sonic cd game Post credit : either cream the rabbit shows up or team chaotic shows up or rouge But since knuckles show is getting a 2nd season they should introduce team chatoix and and since shadow is getting his own show rouge the bar might be introduce and there might be a scene where any meets cream the rabbit and it slowly builds up a team where the 5th move comes in but that’s another story I’ll save for later But I feel like the 4th movie post credit scene will feature cream the rabbit but it depends on what color outfit tika sumpter wears This is my prediction for the sonic movie 4. I don't feel like they'll do a heroes here. POTENTIALLY using Neo Metal or Metal Madness but because they want "Avenger Level Threats" we need to build the character's stories to do so. Like it or not these movies cant just be fan service, and Little Planet may also be a stretch. My full thoughts are that Metal Sonic was a lost piece of tech Robotnick hid away that gained sentience after the Chaos Explosion and went to beat up Sonic and Amy of course with fortune telling or whatever goes to help Sonic. Also I have a prediction for Sonic 5. I feel Sonic 5 will pull from Sonic Adventure. I've been noticing they're pulling characters from popularity and looking at popularity the most popular characters after the rest thatve been chosen, Chaos and Rouge would most likely be in the post credits scene, and since Adventure 2 is finished, the next choice would be Sonic Adventure.
Yes, in the source material Robotnik has survived explosions before, but Jim Carrey's sacrifice and final scene was perfect, and would feel cheap if he returns as the same character. The movies could bring back Jim Carrey as a different character (maybe a voice role); and Metal Sonic as Robotnik's contigency plan in case he died.
I am of the opinion that GUN are the ones who create metal sonic this time around but they use all of eggmans tech and base it's AI off Eggman. I am also curious how Omega would be introduced but I imagine he'd also be a robot made by GUN to replace Eggman drones
I was actually thinking it'd be like a running gag of the movies that Eggman always seems to die at some point, but he's never really dead, kind of like the games.
Sonic 4 should be a sonic cd/sonic heroes adaption, amy rose should already have big the cat at her side if she arrives on earth. Shadow should also return in sonic 4 and he meets rouge the bat either in the fourth movie or in a shadow spin off. I hope eggman somehow survived and jim carrey still continue his role
Or, Sonic 4’s post credit scene could tease Big the Cat and Cream the Rabbit and the end-credit scene could tease Neo Metal Sonic, a Knuckles season 2 could introduce team Chaotix and the solo Shadow project could introduce Rouge the Bat and Omega with Sonic movie 5 being based around heroes to set up Sonic movie 6 to be based off of Sonic 06 and Sonic movie 4 could just take aspects from Sonic CD.
I was thinking the same thing for Sonic 4 - a blend of CD and heroes! I like how you guys went through the details, highlighting Amy's fortune telling powers. I am excited to see this ability return for her, as SEGA has been bringing it back recently. In Sonic Frontiers specifically she had a lot of card related powers. Another thing that I haven't seen pointed out yet is that, in the merch they were selling at a lot of theatres, it contained a pop figure of Cream the Rabbit and Cheese. She was paired with Sonic and Shadow, who had a hero and dark chao respectively. Now this was a call back to SA2 with the neutral, hero, and dark chao, but I find it interesting that they chose Cream as the third in the set. Yes, she does have the most iconic baby neutral chao, but she has only become more relevant in the games again recently with Sonic Dream Team. Her biggest introduction was in Sonic Heroes! I think this is a hint that she may appear beside Amy in Team Rose!
Find me after well over a year I finally found somebody that has the same mindset that thinks Metal Sonic should have been introduced in the second movie even. To me I have never understood why they teased Shadow so early, they still have Metal Sonic to get through and chaos.
I have a theory that the chaos energy that caused the explosion of the arc didn’t kill robotic, but it chaos controlled him to little planet and he discovered the time abilities that it contained and is going to use it to take over the known universe
You know you’re right Amy and metal should’ve got a large roll like they should’ve appeared in the beginning of the third film after shadows breakout like someone else was tampering with the metal sonics which could’ve been Gerald’s ideal. I wish if I was in charge of this movie, I would show them respect for others who deserve more screen times.
I’m waiting for Blaze the Cat to be in the Sonic Cinematic Universe but I hope they don’t go the route of Sonic 06 just cause Silver and Blaze their were pairs in that game doesn’t mean they have to always be together let them be their own characters by themselves. Blaze’s character was already established in the Sonic Rush games before silver was even in concept plus they ruined her in 06 which doesn’t need a repeat. Silver need his own story with him but not with Blaze doesn’t make any sense at all. I’m hoping paramount does her justice unlike Sega who’s leave her to be forgotten.

Just like Knuckles, it will be canon in the Sonic Cinematic Universe. Because in Sonic 3 we see Knuckles hands literally on fire rather than sparking with energy at times. One of two callbacks to his 6 episode show with the power of The Flames of Disaster.
Metal Sonic was created by Eggman, and programmed to go online in the event of his death. The post credits scene took place in New York, which could make Amy the New York counterpart to Sonic. If this is true, she would also arguably have a team, which would be Big the Cat and Cream.

I think metal sonic was already being made during sonic 3, and just needed a power source. Which is why robotnic needed sonic's quill when they teamed up.
Theres also a good chance they maybe taking some inspiration from the sonic comics as well for the fourth movie by integrating the Brotherhood of Metallix storyline

Okay, but Robotnik sacrificed himself to save the world and Stone... undoing that would feel like a pointless retcon for movie goers and new fans. However, I and many Fans are spectulating Ivo to have cloned himself between movie 2, Knuckles Show, and movie 3. Why? Well... Ivo mentioned how he expected Stone to stick around until he is sucessfully CLONED in a throwaway line. Plus, there are clones of Metal Sonic and... hologram cloning technology used throughout acts 1 and 2. 4 + 👥 = Foreshadowed Bernie: Coincidence? I think NOT!
Lol Yes, I love this because originally we wrote something similar. But the more important thing was that he makes a return, weather he's a clone or not it would end up being a retcon. Looking forward to seeing Jim Carry play robotnik again!
@kaylex3 Yes and no... technically, bringing the original Ivo Robotnik back would be a retcon. However, bringing an Ivo Robotnik clone into the mix would not be a full on retcon, but a fun and new way to reintroduce an old character. Say, Agent Stone finds a secret cloning pod storage room when moving his possessions post Sonic 3... curious he looks inside only to find Ivo Robotnik Experimenting 002. Thrilled to have his friend back he quickly jump starts the machine. To his dismay nothing happens and he begrudgingly goes to retrace his steps. (Or so, we think) MS on Stone as Robotnik clone rises from his pod. He picks up a box filled with goat's Milk and Coffee beans. The clone standing right behind him. Inches away. He looks dejected. Agent Stone (Staring into a back mirror): No one could ever replace you... Doctor. Robotnik Clone: Right you are my loyal associate. Agent Stone: Doctor! You're back? Robotnik Clone: In the Ivo Robotnik flesh. Agent Stone (Hugs the clone): It's good to have you back Sir. Robotnik Clone: Save it casanova. Clone experiment or not. I'm still your boss. I'll have you know. A retcon would be like, a show or movie using time travel to change the fabric of time to reintroduce a plotline from a different perspective or angle or introducing new information that has yet to be established by the audience and characters. (Watch Miraculously Gory S05 Derision video for more info) If you ask me Jim coming back as a clone was hinted at since the beginning of act 2.🧐 Exhibite A: Ivo stopped caring about his looks and body shape, right... why would he do that out of the blue if he hadn't already concocted a plan B. Throughout movies 1 and 2 he always wants to be in tip top condition... even after his first encounter with Sonic. Not to mention how he always has a back up plan in case things go south. So, why the change? (Aside from Fan service I mean) Him having made a duplicate version of himself would not only explain this, but shed some light on why he confessed to not "giving a damn" to Team Sonic. Exhibite B: Again, Ivo believes the Robotnik line to start and end with him, right... what if he was referring to the clone version of himself this entire time. Remember, how he believed all possible genders to think of him as "undesirable." Exhibite C: He is the near spitting image of Gerald to the point they even think alike.
@@toshtao1 Okay, but Ivo is an orphan this time around... so, they would need to address such subjects of abandonment like in the Knuckles show. Plus, it may become repetitive throughout the movie. True other versions of Ivo have a father, but we rarely ever hear of him...? But if they go the Sonic Prime route it could be really challenging for Jim to portray, and we all know how Jim loves a good acting challenge. Case and point, learning about CGI on set while filming Mr Popper's Penguins, this movie, and tapping into the mind of The Riddler in Batman Forever - it took him multiple takes just to perform that one cane spin...?! NJ. I mean, playing Ivo and Gerald is pretty challenging, but Jim trying to balance an old persona mixed with a successor clone like memory that needs to fully be reinstated while also wanting to live up to his predecessor's legacy. To my knowledge he has never done anything like that before. Imagine the possibilities... Also, I am pretty sure his father would be similar if not near identical to Ivo, but older or something? With a slight different personality.

Nah, I really love this. Metal Sonic is my number one favorite Sonic villain, along with Eggman. Although I'd like to see Eggman return, I'm more hyped for Metal Sonic, especially Neo Metal Sonic. I used to always love Sonic heroes. In fact, Sonic Heroes is the reason I've Metal Sonic so much. Hopefully, they can make this a two-part series like they did with Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. Also, you will only see me type these long ahh sentences for the characters I adore in any movie, or show.

So if we take this into play Eggman possibly created metal Sonic. The first version may become Neo Metal Sonic and so Amy looks for sonic for help. Metal Madness as a kid was so horrifying and cool for me as a kid. I'm suprised how i beat it multiple plans.
The story might be a mix of CD, Heroes, and 06. Or maybe Silver will come into play in Movie 5 or 6. I feel like movie 6 could be the last one. I mean they could make a Movie 7 for Unleashed tho and that could be the last one. Don’t think any other game after unleashed could be adapted to a movie.
I really want Eggman to finally die and don't return in 4th movie. I know, we all love Jim Carrey, I love him too, but Eggman being the villian for the 4TH TIME?! I know he wasn't main cillian in Sonic 3 but still. His story ended perfectly in 3rd movie, but 4 will be too much I think. Also if Silver won't appear in Sonic 4 or 5 post credit scene I don't know what I'll do. I really need to see him in Live Action.
Tara Strong will be perfect for Amy in Sonic 4. I will say Josh Brolin as the metal voice for Metal Overload only. They will cast a talented lesser voice actor for Silver.
I think anything can happen but judging by how season 1 went I don’t think it’s going to be a super serious thing. Since team Chaotix are a team of detectives they might end up looking for something that maybe knuckles is after also? Then by the end of the season they will work together. Anything could happen I’m not to sure. But I’d be really happy to see them

Because in 2019 paramount made the first trailer for sonic 1, people hated the design, so they changed it. That means paramount WILL listen and silver could possibily be in sonic 4.
I dont see them force silver BUT hey, like you mentioned... they might end up listening to the fans. That would be fun! I think we could see Silver in the end credits for Sonic 4 though. 2nd part : Amy reveals her past and her tarot card reading and makes a bunch of predictions that comes true and tails gets jealous because he’s afraid Amy is taking is spot
Middle part : metal sonic decided to build an army with a bunch of them and Amy tells sonic about the time stones (including tiny planet )
2nd middle part : they all go on a non earth adventure trying to find a way to destroy metal sonic and his gang
Plot : they get the idea of trying to time travel back to the time eggman was in the ark and save him and tell him all about metal sonic
Rising action : they all come up with a plan to stop metal sonic but metal then kidnaps Amy (tails is a bit happy but guilty)

I don't feel like they'll do a heroes here. POTENTIALLY using Neo Metal or Metal Madness but because they want "Avenger Level Threats" we need to build the character's stories to do so. Like it or not these movies cant just be fan service, and Little Planet may also be a stretch. My full thoughts are that Metal Sonic was a lost piece of tech Robotnick hid away that gained sentience after the Chaos Explosion and went to beat up Sonic and Amy of course with fortune telling or whatever goes to help Sonic.
Also I have a prediction for Sonic 5. I feel Sonic 5 will pull from Sonic Adventure. I've been noticing they're pulling characters from popularity and looking at popularity the most popular characters after the rest thatve been chosen, Chaos and Rouge would most likely be in the post credits scene, and since Adventure 2 is finished, the next choice would be Sonic Adventure.
Shadow is also alive, in the second post credits scene.

I was thinking the same thing for Sonic 4 - a blend of CD and heroes! I like how you guys went through the details, highlighting Amy's fortune telling powers. I am excited to see this ability return for her, as SEGA has been bringing it back recently. In Sonic Frontiers specifically she had a lot of card related powers. Another thing that I haven't seen pointed out yet is that, in the merch they were selling at a lot of theatres, it contained a pop figure of Cream the Rabbit and Cheese. She was paired with Sonic and Shadow, who had a hero and dark chao respectively. Now this was a call back to SA2 with the neutral, hero, and dark chao, but I find it interesting that they chose Cream as the third in the set. Yes, she does have the most iconic baby neutral chao, but she has only become more relevant in the games again recently with Sonic Dream Team. Her biggest introduction was in Sonic Heroes! I think this is a hint that she may appear beside Amy in Team Rose!

However, bringing an Ivo Robotnik clone into the mix would not be a full on retcon, but a fun and new way to reintroduce an old character.
Say, Agent Stone finds a secret cloning pod storage room when moving his possessions post Sonic 3... curious he looks inside only to find Ivo Robotnik Experimenting 002.

A retcon would be like, a show or movie using time travel to change the fabric of time to reintroduce a plotline from a different perspective or angle or introducing new information that has yet to be established by the audience and characters. If you ask me Jim coming back as a clone was hinted at since the beginning of act 2.🧐

I mean, playing Ivo and Gerald is pretty challenging, but Jim trying to balance an old persona mixed with a successor clone like memory that needs to fully be reinstated while also wanting to live up to his predecessor's legacy.

Nah, I really love this. Metal Sonic is my number one favorite Sonic villain, along with Eggman. Although I'd like to see Eggman return, I'm more hyped for Metal Sonic, especially Neo Metal Sonic. I used to always love Sonic heroes. In fact, Sonic Heroes is the reason I've Metal Sonic so much. Hopefully, they can make this a two-part series like they did with Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.
