Back in 2014 (the first time I saw a tow video) I was the complete opposite of an enthusiast. I hated rides. I don't know what it was Sean's personality, the fact I'd been to the parks before or the sheer positive nature of the videos. Whatever it was that one video would change my view on theme parks forever and all I can say is thank you TPW
This has to be the best Gronalund video I've seen. I love Sweden and I like the level of enthusiasm you have for all of the attractions. Just subscribed to you on the back of stumbling on this video.
My fave park. It might not have the greatest coasters or the best theming, but there is no park where I have more fun and excitement than in Gröna Lund. Full of fun rides, brilliant staff, amazing atmosphere and the most gorgeous location
What a fun and awesome vlog. (I might be slightly biased this being a childhood/teen memory). Gröna Lund is really a lovely amusement park. So smal and packed without being uu packed. To bad with the weather, but its to be expected in the autumn. But being there late in summer/early fall is pretty great with it being dark. Really wish we had something like this in Norway.
Hi watch you vloggs all the time and with the world we live in these days there's not a lot to smile about but you and all your friends and your adventures always puts a big smile on my face so just a quick thank you to you and everyone at theamepark worldwide 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Gronalund suprised me too, and they expanded with some nice rides over the last 10 years, and they did it all on a very small piece of property. I knew about the upcoming B&M inverted for many years (it was previously planned on an expansion of parkarea with the star flyer in the middle.. but they must have changed that plan ).. I tought the B&M was coming 2019.. but I read 2020 now. So cool that as an ECC member you get full free acces to this park.
great vlog so so nice to see these parks and experience them with you as we will never get to see them ourselves but we feel we have been there, cheers inger and lee
Wildfire isn’t the only RMC outside of the USA - Medusa is in Mexico. It was really interesting to see a vlog from this park, though. Although small, I had assumed it would still be of high standard...and I think you showed that to be the case. The fun house vaguely reminded me of the big ones that used to be in Morecambe and Blackpool...although that was a long time ago!
Next time you visit Stockholm you must visit Junibacken on the same island as Gröna Lund, about 10 mins walk from the park just the other side of the Vasa museum (which is also amazing). This children’s museum has one of the best themed dark rides I’ve ever seen, lasts 9 minutes and has suspended fly throughs.
I thought I'd allready posted this but this some time back but the "suportstage" they build up at the dodgems isnt a stage at all. Its a platform for wheelchairs so they get a better view of the concerts. As Alex pointed out the Gröna Lund stage has been graced by some of the greas in music during the years. One of the more lefendary conserts must have been Jimmy Hendrix who wodent stop playing. Stage maneger Oe Hahn evendually pulled the plug litterary for the concert by switching of the elecricity to the main stage.
I totally agree, this park was a huge surprise for us as well. We really couldn't say enough good things about it. The ferry to get there is especially enchanting, and I actually disagree with you... I thought 'Insane' (ZacSpin) was actually incredible (i.e. terrifying)! Especially if you are facing towards the bay, wow! I wish that B&M invert was opening sooner, I already want to go back!!!
l'm so happy that you guys liked this park we have and l bet you going to like Kolmården to and l hope the weather going to be better to and l wish you to come back to Gröna Lund next year in the summer :D
Great vlog, seems like a mixture between Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Liseberg! Hate to be picky but in terms of RMCs, Medusa is also outside of the USA :P
It's The Gravity Group. Gravitykraft is the sub-company that manufactures the timberliner trains. Also, there is another RMC in Mexico, so it's the only RMC outside North America not the USA. Sorry to just be correcting, but I figured you would like to know. Great vlog otherwise! The park looks really great!
I remember riding the one at somewhere around 45:00 when I was 9 years old and it was my favorite one! It went pretty fast considering my age and now when I look back at it, it’s so slow!
What a lovely parc even in the rain and great name for a droptower.Ikaros/Icarus in greek mythology made some wings to escape but if he flew too high the sun would burn his wings.Good thing u two survived loool.Who needs B&M when u can just zigzag on a kiddy coaster loool :-).
Im glad you experienced Gothenburg and Liseberg first though. Stockholm and Gröna Lund is nice but the West coast/Gothenburg and Liseberg is much nicer and much more beautiful in my opinion, but i still like Stockholm:) Hope you had a good time
I need to go here would have visited when I was going to go in July but sodding Covid put a stop to that so it's now a waiting game. But deffo will go.
Seemed like you really had fun there, especially considering the weather! I've been to Grönalund twice in my life but only for 4 hours at a time on busy days so I haven't gotten to do much there.
Just watched to 2 grona Lund vlogs and I’ve relised why the bobsled was closed on you most recent visit. The track has been repainted from purple to yellow
Haha! When you ask Alex, who's train is that and he answers, like he's got a damn clue: well, it's "blatougjeys" (blå tågets). That still cracks me up to this day :D
Not sure why you guys see so much queue jumping, I've only ever seen it once! That was on Na'vi River journey- watch out for people sitting down underneath the railing !
Haven't been to Grönalund since I was a kid, me and my family always went to Liseberg or Kolmården instead but this vlog make my want to go back to Stockholm and Grönalund.
These classic Magic Carpets were always crazy. Chessingtons use to run theres like it was going to kill you. I recall being so upset when it left Chessington and was replaced by Samurai. Still it never turned out rubbish till Chessington removed Samurai. Trying to get 1001 Nights credit now is near impossible, god I miss that view of AT

Is it me, I don't get jet line. I feel no force. Nightmare at Camelot cost 3 million, and that was second hand!!.. Great vlog, the park is small but perfectly formed.
My favourite vlog I've watched from this channel so far, there was something quite special about it and the park was absolutely stunning. Excellent.
Thank you, we had a lovely day at this gorgeous park!
Back in 2014 (the first time I saw a tow video) I was the complete opposite of an enthusiast. I hated rides. Thank you for the wonderful comment and for sharing your story!
This has to be the best Gronalund video I've seen. I love Sweden and I like the level of enthusiasm you have for all of the attractions. Just subscribed to you on the back of stumbling on this video.
Thank you for watching!
Considering it's tiny size Grona Lund looks an amazing little park with it's coasters, fun house and other rides.
It has some very strong rides and very fun attractions!
I was a bit guttered to see some solo vlogs but now we have alex, my day gets better every minute
Thanks for the Vlog. I use to take this parks beauty for granted. You gave me new appreciation for it's beauty alone.
Thanks for watching, it is indeed beautiful
Was just looking for a vlog to watch and this just got uploaded, great timing :D
We hope you enjoyed it!
36:10 The greatest transtion ever
True😂
My fave park. It might not have the greatest coasters or the best theming, but there is no park where I have more fun and excitement than in Gröna Lund. Full of fun rides, brilliant staff, amazing atmosphere and the most gorgeous location

Thanks Jessica!

It sure is!
I have been on Gröna Lund its a Amasing park +This Channel is Amasing
Thanks Max!
Wow! Very compact park. Beautiful! Another Great Video!
It is gorgeous!
It even looks more beautiful in the rain methinks! Got to get to Sweden some day...
Once again I sacrifice my sleep for these vids
Well worth it in our opinion!

WILD 🔥 FIRE NEXT VLOG! The vekoma suspended coaster is a complete replica of flight of the pterosaur
Phoenix Destiny8 Kvasten was first ;) So Flight is the replica
It sure is!
Great vlog guys nice to see a new park and what a park, it looks beautiful. 👍🏻
14:56 Surprise, Charlotte also joined the trip! ... wait...
Joshua Baruch ahah
4 Tower rides?
2:24 My jaw dropped! How amazing. looking is that!!

The fun house vaguely reminded me of the big ones that used to be in Morecambe and Blackpool...although that was a long time ago!
It is indeed, didn't realise until after filming! Close enough to America I guess! The fun house was awesome, really enjoyable!
Great video as always. Everyone seemed so happy to be their.

We will have to have a look!
next time you are in Scandinavia you should go to tusenfryd in norway, it's a very good park with some incredible coasters and rides!
Love Alex's face when he recognises the Aladdin music 😊
I thought I'd allready posted this but this some time back but the "suportstage" they build up at the dodgems isnt a stage at all. Its a platform for wheelchairs so they get a better view of the concerts.

I love these vlogs I click on this sooo fast ❤️
Thank you!
59:05 Just a correction . Cliffhanger is at Flamingo Land not Lightwater Valley. Fantastic park, great Vlog.
Thanks for that, I must of been caught up in all of the fun!
39:23 nopeeee pretty sure it’s for a wheel chair Shaun 😂 the things he comes up with 😂🤘🏼
You never know!
Its for wheelchair and trolleys
When i see the 'New from Theme Park Worldwide" notification, i click so fast as i can on it!
We're glad that you enjoy our videos
Aww same
l'm so happy that you guys liked this park we have and l bet you going to like Kolmården to and l hope the weather going to be better to and l wish you to come back to Gröna Lund next year in the summer :D
We hope to come back next year!
Ahh I'm sad you couldn't try Eclipse, definitely one of the highlights for the views at night!
Really interesting vlog shawn. Loved this one the park looked really different and compact.
Thank you, the park was unique!
Great vlog, seems like a mixture between Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Liseberg!
Hate to be picky but in terms of RMCs, Medusa is also outside of the USA :P
It is indeed, I realised after doing some research after filming!
Apparently there is an RMC going to Japan for 2018 as well, might be something to keep an eye on!
Great vlog as always Shawn!
maybe you must do a Scandinavian mega trip
Now that would be fun!
Theme Park Worldwide if, you have to check out Djurs, Fårup and Legoland! The Legoland in Denmark is the original Legoland!
and tusenfryd
Who else saw the notification saying "New from theme park worldwide" and just paused their lives and clicked on it.
We hope you enjoy!
They just came out with a new roller coaster on Gröna Lund, its called monster and its looks very very interessting and fun!
Can't wait for the Kolmarden Vlog!
It's coming in the next few days!
Did Alex say, " it meets Hershey park" at around 3:41 ?? They have been to hershey?
We haven't visited Hershey Park however we're aware it has a wide variety of tower rides!
I realised this just after filming! Great to have the first RMC in Europe though!
You're right, we do need a park like this in Plymouth! Closest we have is either Crealy in Exeter or Flambards in Cornwall.
I remember riding the one at somewhere around 45:00 when I was 9 years old and it was my favorite one! It went pretty fast considering my age and now when I look back at it, it’s so slow!
What manufacturing company made big dipper?
The ride was built by a man called William Strickler
I have caught up late on some of your vlogs these are cool places that u go too
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic and entertaining video!
Thanks!
Love watching your videos They are really good :)
Thank you Hayley!
Do you keep a coaster count? If so, what is it?
I do indeed, close to 700 now!
Where there any coasters from the Netherlands on the posters?
Not that I could see, however there could be!
How do you switch cameras like you do on 49.15
We just use our usual camera then go pro and edit it
What is a fun UK park for the whole famliy with some thrilrides and that is near a city?
Alton Towers is probably the best or Chessington
Joep Van meel Blackpool's Also a good bet, depending on what city you want to visit.
When are these 2018 trip details coming out

Just watched to 2 grona Lund vlogs and I’ve relised why the bobsled was closed on you most recent visit. The track has been repainted from purple to yellow
It has indeed! Can’t wait to go back for the new inverted coaster!
Haha! When you ask Alex, who's train is that and he answers, like he's got a damn clue: well, it's "blatougjeys" (blå tågets). That still cracks me up to this day :D
Hey Shawn, what's your favourite park and coaster? Also great vlog so far. (Haven't finished watching yet)
My top park is Tokyo DisneySea with my top coaster now Wildfire!
Cool! Mines Alton Towers and my favourite coaster is Nemesis, but I've not been to many theme parks so I don't have much experience.
Did you get to ride Eclipse?
We didn't unfortunately
What was the cost of this park?... entrance fee and wristbands?
The new prices can be found on the official website

Theme Park Worldwide oh oaky and keep up the good work and I’ve been subbed since you were at 10k subs
Are you going to fright night Thorpe park?
We will be on Sunday!
Great vlog Shawn! I have just arrived in Stockholm! I have a few hours free tomorrow, do think it’s worth visiting for a short time?
It sure is worth the visit
Just a nitpick, but, Medusa Steel Coaster at Six Flags Mexico is the other RMC outside The States.
It is indeed, didn't realise until after filming! Close enough to America I guess!
Are you going to Cedar point please reply
I am indeed this May
Shawn, you design scare attractions?? How do you get to do that?
We have designed a few attractions before ourselves, currently working on a large Christmas walkthrough
Once again great vlog keep it up! :)
