As a Pakistani I can confirm that this is not what haleem looks like and that’s not what chapli kabab looks like but it’s okay as long as they enjoyed it hehe. Love how they enjoyed Pakistani food so much but I would really advice to try authentic haleem and chapli kabab they are delicious 🥹

Being from Peshawar Pakistan, i can say that’s not how chapli kababs are supposed to be 😂 only if you had eaten an authentic chapli kabab, it would’ve probably been on top of that “favourite kababs” list.

@@kaustubhraizada both have their own textures and flavors. Authentic chapli kabab has marrow pieces with lots of chillies it taste devine. Glauti kabab on the other hand just melt in mouth.

None of the dishes looked like they normally would but am very happy to see this video. The dessert you should try is either shahi tukrey or Kheer. You can’t get more OG than that!

shahi tukre is not at all a typical pakistani dessert, let alone OG. outside of karachi, it is not even made in most of pakistan --- its an indian muslim dessert, kept alive as a tradition by muslims who migrated from hyderabad/up etc. the typical pakistani desserts would be more like kheer as you said, really thick kheer, firni, rabri falooda, sohan, and other halwa jaat.

Brother, as so many people have already said that these dishes are not like that in Pakistan, Dumpukht is a dish made with Dumba (Sheep) and is made famously in Quetta and in Peshawar, like it's mostly a Pathan / Balochi Community dish, where as Chappli kabab are based in Northern Province of KPK which corresponds with Afghanistan, another famous dish is Kabuli Pulao, and the BBQ from that area is totally different from the BBQ from Lahore & Karachi, Karachi BBQ has more of a Mumbai vibe where as Lahore is more like the Charhda Punjab, over all the Naan that you have tasted are also very very diverse from the whole country too
None of our dishes looks like this but Im from dubai so i know india’s Pakistani cuisine is little bit red in looks but authentic pakistani dishes can only be found in Pakistan itself. ❤

As a pakistani ai can confirm that this is not an authentic chapli kebab i promise that if you guys would have the real version of it you'll rate it 12/10 cuz it is just heavenly 🤤 & the haleem too does not look that original non the less happy to see you guys try our food and i have had many indian dishes before which also are really really delicious specially the street ones pav bhaji and dosa 🤤🤤 soo good ❤

Also a BIG fan of Satyam. Note for the chaisexual here: Next time you try these dishes again, try them with chai. It elevates EVERYTHING. enjoy any of the salans mentioned above with a cup of tea and garam roti/naan, and it'll feel like bliss.

I did want to point out a few small things. Almost every food featured in this video is slightly different from what we're used to. The haleem made here is much grainier but simultaneously soupy. The aalu gosht in Pakistan typically has a soupy texture. The chapli kabab (as the name suggests) are literally flattened to an almost crisp; the kabab in the video were much thicker than here.
But I sincerely hope ya'll loved the meal

@@Zarakhan11727 the entire concept of dumm pukht is severely wrong. Dumm pukht is basically rice stuffed in the belly of a goat, all it's essence is in the rice. I've noticed one more thing that all the dishes look almost similar
Oh nooo....You haven't tried Chapli kebab it means, because Chapli kababs aren't like nuggets from anywhere...It has a totally different taste plus it doesn't look like this either...They are always flat...And haleem also doesn't have this color at all..Aloo gosht is more liquidity texture not this much thick..but Apnay ye bilkul theek kaha ke " whoever knows how to make Aloo gosht is a good cook"...Thanks a million for making this lovely video...👍 But mujhay lagta hai ke real taste ke liye apko yahan anaa hi parega 🙂😅
as you can see chapli means flat and that kabab was not actually flat....Chapli kabab is fully flat and juicy and soft in texture not as rigid like that one yout tried

These are variations of Pakistani dishes. Also, we in Pakistan eat vegetables too. You still have to taste mix vegetable (cooked on low flame overnight) lentils (specially fry maash daal), Saag (popular on both Punjabs) and many more.
love u from Pakistan ..... and one thing more guys Dum Pukht color less hota hai guys and its easy to cook just add ghee half kg place meat and bon on it + 4 or 5 full tomato with out cutting 4 or 5 onion clean but full without cutting + 4 or 5 potato garlic with shell ginger half clean peace add salt according taste add 1 table spoon black paper and 3 or 4 green chilly glass of water now let the pressure cooker on dheemi anch fire for 3 hours your dum pukht is ready enjoy it in fully Peshawari style

Chapli kabab is native to pakhtoon culture and is traditionally made with beef. Food is all about how it tastes, smells, looks and what is the texture like. Chapli kabab is made with a recipe that aims to achieve a certain texture if you have to eat the authentic chapli kabab. This dish shown as chapli kabab is nowhere near chapli kabab at all.
