Those 2 had to hold off the waves of werewolves. What irks me is that the Dawnguard soldiers lost so easily against the vampires, they're supposed to be veteran vampire hunters. Even if there's a Vampire Lord there they shouldn't have lost in a matter of seconds

@@nicholascauton9648 According to someone who i talked to here in youtube, apparently those soldiers aren't Dawnguard soldiers but eastern/western Skyrim soldiers and this vampire outbreak occured in the 2nd era... No wonder they lost so quickly, if they were Dawnguards they probably would've driven that Vampire Lord into a corner.
That lady is also said to be a half-giant that's why she's so strong while the old Nord is the player character.

Hircine wouldn't care. Lore wise, Vampires and Werewolves are more neutral than anything else. Hircine only likes the hunt, doesn't care whose in control of the hunt, just as long as something is being hunted.
@@BlankEmporium I disagree. Werewolves were created by Hircine to live up to his ideal of "the hunt". Perfect, independent killing machines. To see them reduced to mere security drones, working for beings created by a rival daedric lord... I believe he would take it as an insult. Because if these werewolves are locked in statues, underground, then they aren't out hunting for sport. Hircine isn't the guy who keeps grudges, but I still think he's gotta pissed.

@Esta Dick i'd sign but film companies don't respect the gaming world, they get their projects from books and art, we are their sworn arch rivals/enemies, everytime i've watched a film based on a game it's been awful (minus World Of Warcraft that to me was pretty good) they only take like a week 2 weeks to make them with cheap props and equipment

I know "deepest lore" is often memed but honestly this series match if not surpass Tolkien lore in terms of worldbuilding, it has so much material that it doesn't even warrant a film but a 15 season series.

It would just divert resources from Bethesda's actual games and probably suck anyway. Good animation is only 1 pillar of a good movie and being able to make trailers doesn't mean they're able to write a good 2hr script. Just stringing cool scenes together almost always results in a terrible movie.

Honestly Bethesda needs to give werewolves some more spotlight, they have made them utterly pointless because they made the vampire transformations and abilities so much stronger and it looks cooler too. Todd needs to give werewolves a chance man. I thought this dlc was about the wolf Queen and I was so hyped but it's about vampires again

At first I was rolling my eyes a little at that scene. But then it hit, that's Lyris! She's part giant, Hence the whole scene perfect sense. OF COURSE she can do that, her racial mix virtually garintees it. Hell, she'd tower even higher of them if she was a man. Hardly makes a difference though. A giant is a giant. (Though spoiler alert.
It's not a status without grievances. Lyris's mother died giving birth to her precisely because of her size. Her father virtually succumbed to grief because of it. Fair to say, that nipped her in her oversized ass rather badly.)
Jordan Scherr they also got the werewolves wrong, werewolves are a lot bigger than that. They should be up there with a high elf if not taller. Even the nord hero was beating them with strength. Sure Lyris is half giant, but to be able to overpower over 5 werewolves at once is absurd. But then again they’re small as shit in this so I guess it isn’t surprising.....

@@jordanscherr6699 A werewolf is 2x faster than a half giant, she had like 5 werewolves on top of her, half a second would be more than enough for just 1 of those 5 werewolves to sink their teeth in her neck or face. She would lose her neck and face in 1 second.

in case you dotn know, this game is ran by a completely different studio, Bethesda is the monkeys twirling their thumbs, Zenimax is honestly pretty good for what they do... which is essentially just trying to apply whatever lore scraps bethesda throws at them and make it into a normal mmo, the game is not bad just painfully average... amazing voice acting and non repetitive quests tho (no fetch quests for 20+ bear asses)

The Nord Hero looks so cool. Just like all the armors in the cinematic. Then you look at the ingame armor and get disssapointed.
ESO cinematics are some of the best cinematics in gaming.

It can take a specialised CGI studio, several weeks, millions of dollars and extremely beefy machines to render a single scene of this, safe to say we are decades from games looking like this.
They same the same thing about wow which arguably has the best cinematics around but the game looks like a cartoon

@@SuperShithead22 Maybe the vampire lord does not control the werewolves, but is only setting them free. Cause some chaos as a distraction, so that when the nords are overwhelmed with werewolves, they will be too distracted to notice the vampires setting up harrowstorms.
@@excelsiorcroissant yeahhh, which is why I guess some single player ES fans have some tension with the ESO community. ESO fans say that the lore match up due to the large time difference, but I've heard some single player fans complain about some lore not matching up.
I play a lot of Skyrim, but have never played ESO. I just hope the makers of ESO try to stay as faithful to the setting of Skyrim as possible. The ES series is no longer in its infancy like it was during the days of Daggerfall and Arena (they got away with a lot of retcon because of that). Hope the lore of the series is treated with more consistency moving forward
@@yuchenchen8012 It's not just Skyrim, it's Oblivion and Morrowind too mate, don't forget that, most of the lore you see in Skyrim comes from those two other games, mainly Morrowind. But yeah, I agree, that's what we want, that the lore stays consistent in a game such as this... though Bethesda has only proven the contrary until now with ESO, that they were gonna milk their baby out until it's dry, so I don't know about hope, it's maybe a little too late for that.

Even a single arrow took them down like a weak skeever. Being undead might make sense but cinematically it made the fight less impressive.
@@MinishMoosen being undead should be a reverse right, even zombies take multiple hits and they are the weakest undead, those undead werewolves shouldnt just become inanimate after one strike, zombied werewolves by a great vampire lord should atleast die after decapitation or 4 to 5 strikes from those "strong Nords" lol

The one thing ESO is in dangerous need of is a bit of grit. It’s very Pg with the violence. Elder Scrolls may be fantasy but it’s a very bloody universe.
Let´s wait how Elder Scrolls 6 looks like. Skyrim and the older games were bloody but the world changed a lot since 2011 due to all the snowflakes nowadays...
@MrFishbone111 It makes sense business wise to try to reach a bigger audience. A lot of game-developers and publishers are public traded companies with stock holders nowadays. No small hobby programmers who produced their games in a garage like in the 90s. They do anything to maximize their profit. That includes selling games to all possible customers. The times where games are only for young males are long gone( in the 90s games were full of violence,racism, sexism and vulgar language- imagine Bethesda or Blizzard do something like that today... they would be bashed to the ground). They make way more money if the games are interesting for older men, girls and older women too. Hence the mobile gaming boom in the past years.Easy games and female friendly games. Of course this pisses all the classical gamers off(like myself xD). We have to get used to all games from big companies to be adapted to mainstream culture.
WORLD WIDE but it’s pointless to pander to people to expand your audience. It almost never works and the fairly large audience you already had is dissatisfied with what they got cause the game was ruined teaching out to people that don’t even play games.

@@mr.jamrob4505 Sneak damage does not work when the enemy saw you so he's right. The guy has no where to run and hide too is the case.
His sneaking skill is probably at 3, so everyone sees him no matter what he does, therefore it would just look like he's crouching and taking a dump instead of trying to stay hidden.

A lot of the blows they show in the trailer aren't ones that would draw blood or be lethal strikes anyway, as if the heroes are actively NOT trying to kill the werewolves, knowing that they are likely unwilling participants in this fight.

that's for the werewolves I think. But in most cases in ESO world werewolf bites give lycanthropy, vampire bites and drain magic infects you with vampiric disease
