Thanks for posting, my grandfather had a lot of these 8mm and super 8 films when I was growing up in the 70s and early 80s.

Takes me back to the days of checking out 8mm Blackhawk films from the library. Good times...

Bro. I am experiencing the same as you. But it was given to my Mom, by my late grand parents. Now in my possession, at 55 years.

Wow. I actually have this same movie on 8mm film that my parents had when I was a child... and I'm 55 now. God knows how long they had it before!
Thanks for posting this! We've lost a lot in our haste to make films 'realistic'.

Our dad did the same thing! This was great fun. We got family films out on Saturday night and ended it with this one.

Ha! - In the scene where Bud is on the motorcycle, motioning for Lou (off-camera) to catch up to him, you can see his shadow on the rear-projection screen at one point.... Those days are gone forever!

I just found this on 8mm in an old projector and just watched it!

I dusted off the old family projector. But concerned about burning the film if, or when, it would get stuck. I was thinking about replacing the incandescent lamp with an LED. Any advice?

Curious where the train scene was filmed. Solidad Canyon?

As for my review of Abbott and Costello Meet The Keystone Kops: I found the film to be very uneven. There were some very funny sequences in the film, and there were some long very unfunny, slow moving parts.
