      Humor has been pretty advanced for awhile. If you watch silent films, you will realize that you can relate to some of the humor to modern day humor.

      Grew up on looney tunes here in Los Angeles and visited familia every summer in Mexico. But i never watched TV there. Too busy running around con primos. Very cool info thanks for sharing. I will ask my dad if he remembers .

I'm sure you also believe the Model T was the only automobile in the 1920s, and probably also forget that vehicles exist in the 1910s and 1900s.

    The eighties comedy, "Moving Violations", borrowed the multiple car push gag. Director Del Lord, was an accomplished stunt driver in the silent era, later directed "Three Stooges". I love the magnet gag, car predates Bill Burke's bellytank by a few years!!!

    It's really odd, I placed myself in their shoes with their sense of humor and living....then went thru their lives as they got older, and now realized that they are dead now.
    Even so, it was great that they made this for a bit of fun, even after 100 years. Immortality is a peculiar thing.

    It look like it came from the Laurel and Hardy comedy series, such as Leave Them Laughing, Two Tars (both of them are in the silent film era), Perfect Day, Hog Wild, County Hospital, Busy Buddies, Towed In A Hole, and Blockheads. R.I.P. Horseless Carriages.

    What a gem! Have been looking for a silent film I remember seeing as a young boy being shown at birthday parties etc. It was the man with the bullet car and the magnet. We called it the 'Lazy Man' film but don't know its real title. Can you help, please? Love to see the complete film again. What happy memories.
