Thanks a million prof I am absolutely learning huge knowledge. I believe that Immense learning comes out of suffering. However in your terrific channel I understand that Immense learning comes out of pleasure, enthusiasm and dedication. I owe you a lot as the world owes a lot to Greece .
I think we never ending to our inter and intra lingua to study until more than 20 years experiences of teacher job at our universities range of studies aspects all over the world.
Thank you so much. I'm an English Language student. I have Introduction to Linguistics exam next month. It's similar to the "The Study of Language" George Yule, Cambridge. We only studied until the complement phrases in the Syntax Chapter. I'm very much into Syntax and Morphology than Semantics and Pragmatics. Is there such a book for Syntax I can self-study to increase my knowledge?
My E-Lectures on traditional PDE syntax are based on the "Quirk" grammar: "A comprehensive grammar of the English Language". Another recommendabe source is" Aarts, Bas. 2008. English Syntax and Argumentation (3rd ed.). Houndmills: Palgrave Macmillan.
Dear Bon Bon. You're flooding the channel with comments and questions, such as this one. Perhaps you should try some linguistic tests beforehand: the omission test, the distribution test, paradigmatic tests etc.
Thanks a million prof
