I bought a 1992 truck that will only start and run with the fuel screw run way in. That obviously makes run to the moon with now chance at idle. What are the odds the fulcrum lever is busted?
@@1stgenhub806 I'm all the way in to the gov. Spring with no signs of tampering below the smoke wheel (5_1/2 turns in). It is completely gummed up with a varnish type sticky substance. I'm going to clean it all, put in new seals, and assemble with new parts while making sure to index the throttle like you instructed.
Glad to hear you’ve found some suspected fail points. Hopefully that clears you up. These trucks aren’t getting any younger so no telling what you may run into when you pick one up
@@1stgenhub806 quick update. I've got a 605 recall truck that was never done. I'm contacting the dealer to get it replaced. It seems it is in runaway mode due to a broken pin below the fulcrum lever.
Agreed. First time I've been on this channel and now the last. I'll watch Decent Garage all day and he doesn't have to talk like that to get the point across.
I love this guy. Straight up
Thanks for taking the time making good videos for the 1g world
Running the 4200 in mine. 😎🔥🇺🇸
Awesome
People are watching it to see how it’s done. The people that Time lapse the part you need to see are evil.

I’d be looking at the throttle indexing first
