I've been playing since the release, but even though I'm a huge fan of AC aesthetic islands, I've never tried to do something like this, I kind of never felt the need to, and I've watched many many videos... But this. This one. This makes me wanna place all the houses somewhere and rebuild my whole Villager's neighbourhood. Thanks a lot for giving me this impulse to retake the game for more than daily chores!!! You're doing amazing!!
People like when the houses are well separated, almost like they're "stumbling upon" their houses, but its hard to manage room of your island when the villagers houses are all scattered! I'm really going to use this video as inspiration. You mabaged to keep your houses close enough together while still giving it that spacious, adventurous feel, meanwhile my animal crossing planner page has my villagers house on the same level in a U formation Dx
Same experience with Raymond! He was my first villager at the campsite so he had to be invited in! Once I found out he was really popular I got kinda sad that I didnt have his like fully upgraded house but luckily found someone who was nice enough to take him and then trade him back. Him and Sherb have been my new favorites.
It makes me so happy to see someone else redo their island. Mine was a 5 stars japanese island but it’s under construction and I’m going for a whole other theme!
i have over 535 hours in ACNH, and if i do say so myself i have an island i’m very pleased with, still in the works. i’ve watched soooo many youtuber five star island tours but THIS. ALL of your videos and designs are superior to anything i’ve EVER seen! how do you come up with a layout SO aesthetically pleasing?? you are officially crowned “ACNH Island Design Queen.” and that’s on period.😂😂
Gotta tell you, this was awe inspiring to watch. I almost never post comments but, I've been trying to figure out how to get my villagers into a better location with terraforming and this has helped tremendously. I hate to say it but, I have over 300 hours in ACNH and my village looks the same except for plantings, custom paths, hedges, bushes, some beach redo, etc. This gave me the boost I needed, keep on posting and, TYSM!!!

if u like the sound effects of the default paths, try putting the path down and then the custom design on top. that way u can have the sound effects while also having the variety of custom designs😁
i'd finished remodeling my entire island 2 days before my switch completely died, so i've been completely uninspired with the new island i'll eventually design when I can get my switch repaired/replaced, but this gave me so many good ideas! great job so far.

This was really nice to watch! I kind of smushed all of my villagers in one place and all their houses (outside decor) look the same. I plan to redo it all once I make some other areas and get new diys, but for now they’ll just have to stay with no personality. Thank you for posting this though!
Same! I was so focused on wanting to create different areas for activities with specific themes in mind that i just put all the villagers in one area, close together. :-/ i may make changes (again). All the designs in this video came out so good!
