Just a tip: try not to hate your Island, it really makes it beautyful. Try not to compare it to others, see the work you've done. Be proud of it, because it is the fruit of your hard work. If You want to improve it it's really good, but don't hate on it. It makes it look much, much better
I love this advice. People often compared islands. Each island is unique. Don't be ashamed.

This is true in so many ways. Instead of hating ones island and comoletely rebuilding it from the ground up bc you found a certain island style/theme that you like, maybe take what you like and apply it however you want and however it will work on your own island. As cysketch has said, there's no problem in copying designs however all the fun in is in your own imagination and creativity. Besides, its no fun seeing other people's island style in your own island, put your own personality in it instead.

Let me just say this, out of all the acnh touring channels out here on yt, your channel's the best! Your insightful review, attention to detail, witty inputs and respectful regard towards the creators are what makes your tours extra special. Your viewers can tell that you're genuinely interested in each island you visit and that's actually very nice and what most channels lack. So keep up the great work Chase, and also hunt for more artists/illustrators with acnh because their islands are truly the most creative and DYNAMIC islands out there. (My 3 faves being niko, mez, and cysketch's islands)
It was funny how you kept "losing" Cheryl and talked about how fast they were, totally adds to the experience because it's just like when you travel to a big city in a foreign country and hire your own guide on the spot, they're always so excited and fast and you constantly feel lost. 😂

The "bunk bed" is an item called "Loft bed with desk"!
Also, this island is SO amazing!I couldn't sit here and name every part I love because it would go on forever and no one would care to read it, so let's just say I love the whole thing. The idea of making the house an apartment complex and each of the ground floor rooms is a separate apartment is so unique. And the skyline on the horizon you see at the beginning and end of the tour! So inspiring! Their theme is so different from mine but I'm so inspired by it all the same, there's some amazing ideas.
I wasn't even intending on making it an apartment complex X"D Chase really caught me off guard with that observation hahaha.
The skyline was a happy accident as well! I honestly didn't expect it to happen like that but once I added the street lamps in it was like OH DAMN WE'RE ROLLING WITH IT

this island gives an amazing visual aspect on how some cities in asia really are! The crammed alley ways with food stalls and small markets, the layout and different visuals. It truly feels like you are walking in the streets of modern day asia. I LOVE IT
The view from the cliff as they look to the library in the distance seems so fantasy like and the trees just look like rooflines of castles and buildings. I just can't.
Listening to Chase Crossing speak is just so relaxing. I love when he gets excited. You sound like such a sweetheart!

It was so interesting to hear them talk about what they learned and how they used it! And it's so cute hearing them get excited talking about how it all came together! I totally share the same happiness whenever I have books or magazines on sale at the shop lmao.
I love how they have a reason for each villager to be in each area, I have backstories for my villagers in a different way so I love when people have stories behind things!

I totally agree with testing and taking time to interpret ideas, with your OWN memory and interpretation aha. I tend to try and copy ideas in the exact same way due to being afraid of loosing the feel or tone to something. The interview definitely reminded me that its okay to explore. And if unsure just sit on it for a while till you can get back to it

I've always loved this theme with alleys ands stalls and have been working on one myself. The entrance is super nice, didn't notice how stunning nook's cranny looks from afar! Thank you so much for the island tour, interview, and inspirations!

I'm always so OCD with my island and I have to dot all my "I's" and cross my "T's" but these islands always teach me to let go and relax a little and there is beauty in "chaos." ❤️
if youre not diagnosed with ocd you shouldnt act like you have it. You should just say “this triggers me” or somethinf like that. ocd is a serious disease and if youre not diagnosed with it then you shouldnt say “im always so ocd” bc ocd is actually a lot worse than that. i domt have it but i know people who do.

This feels like a chaotic/bustling city and I love it! All the walls and signposts and the terraforming to create walls just make it feel so cramped and hectic (in such a good way!).

Potatoes creator is extremely talented and really brought her space together like poetry! I want to live on this island! Its cozy and eclectic! I'm inspired, though My island will not be a " show piece" like this one , I do try and create areas that my dreamy neighbors will enjoy for many years to come! So far it's good! Though I have 2 jocks that are living next door to my 2 sisters and I kinda want them separated so they can enjoy activities in their yards together. In time I will get this done! I love the fact that this island is a huge cramped city, but it's not aggressive. It's warm and friendly rather than cold and empty like so many other urban cities. What a wonderful island.

Ok is it just me or do interior designers need to step up their game, literally animal crossing players are making wayyy more intricate and crazy designs than people irl 😳
If you look at some rooms in animal crossing they would be impossible and impractical to produce in real life. And a lot of those rooms are by interior designers lmaoooo

That island is built like I decorate my home! There's nothing better to me than having tiny stations and areas you can do specific tasks in! Two thumbs and eight dewclaws up from me and the cat crew!

I have bad terraforming skills and not sure what I want to achieve out of my island yet (I do have rough ideas but not sure how to execute them properly), so seeing this and how well cohesive it is is amazing 😱. It's packed in a fluid way, and not to mention the shadows of the trees/buildings at the distance makes it feel even more like a massive city... I was mesmerized.
I’m a big fan of incorporating storytelling with her villagers. Giving them specific things they might typically interact with in a day to give them a purpose adds so much character to the island and makes it feel like this place coulda actually function. Super fun one
