I'm trying to hold myself back because updates with new furniture are comming. Idk I dont want to do everything at once until I get the stuff I actually wantend and redo everything. Honestly when I'm done with my island like with nl, I probably wont touch the game because the project is kind of done. So I try to not rush into things yk? Ik there are people out there who delete their island and start again or simply redo it, but I can't;-; I want to make memories and look back at the game years later. (Sorry for my bad english)

I made alllll of the mistakes when placing my villagers. Sooooo, I have just been moving things and taking it day by day without time skipping. It gives me time to think about what I want to do and take a break from the game after doing my dailies and terraforming.
I'm doing the same, but the biggest problem with avoiding time-travel is I'm now rethinking my layout and I'm gonna have to go through all that again D:

Am I the only one that hasn't been no where near as stressed out as everyone else when it comes to terraforming? I find it to be one of the most relaxing features because it gives me a fun goal to work towards and when I complete it I always feel so much more accomplished.
I feel you. I have a forest themed island and Isabelle wants me to chop trees I can't 😭. I'm probably going to have a forest on one side and a little city on the other so she'll be happy. I wish we didn't have limits for trees, bridges etc.
I like it kinda scattered at first. But I realize I like having at least two near each other. But I think the video meant that keep it together at first until you know exactly where you want to put your homes after terraforming most of your island and are sure if your placement. Cuz you don't want to spend more money on moving than you have to.
Georga Seebalack yeah i still prefer scattered but whenever i feel like two villagers are kinda the same personality wise i like to put them kinda near each other in a kinda themed area, eg. kiki and muffy’s witchy clifftop area and mac and maple’s reading/workout area! the last one isn’t the same but i kinda ship them so i had to lol
I love the spread out look just not the weeds 😂 Replace them with 4 million flowers..... My town in new leaf was literally so covered with flowers u couldn't run ANYWHERE. Protect the babies. 😂😂
There's nothing that will make me more mad in this game than the fact that the inclines are two blocks wide, causing them to not align with doors. Also, one of my lazy villagers gave me a tombstone, claiming that he used to make them before moving to my island.
@@lauren.3 what I ended up doing was moving the museum further along, and have it so the incline goes to a little seating area next to the museum first instead. I do like your idea though, could be good for a future project!
A pro tip I learned from my own mistake: Place every single houses/buildings (shop, museum) at the lowest height of the map, because then you can play around with terraforming on the higher tiers with ease, without running into buildings or having to DESTROY BRIDGES AND STAIRS THAT YOU SPENT MILLIONS OF BELLS ON.
This style of video reminds me of that episode of OG Powerpuff Girls where each girl tells a story to the mayor about how he got kidnapped and Bubble's version is all hand-drawn and wholesome and precious. I love Bubbles. ;3;

I needed this video so much, tomorrow town hall starts construction tomorrow and I hear you get terraforming once town hall is finished with construction, so I started flipping out because my island's horrible, and I didn't want to mess it up entirely trying to fix it without any knowledge of what I should do and without planning. Every once in a while I get really enthusiastic about changing my island so they look as professional as those of other people, then I realise that it's so much work and I give up. Same procedure every darn time

I’m a bit disappointed in the 5 star rating requirements. Being someone with major OCD, I find it difficult to place a bunch of furniture outside because it looks like a cluttered mess even when it’s placed strategically. Does anybody else feel this way, or am I just nitpicking? :3
Your cute pig is styled like a vintage piggy bank! The 1960s style daisy stickers on her head are part of that whole look. That’s also why her house looks it does - it’s meant to be a bank with a vault. :) I find her cute still, despite her tombstone threat!
I received the game for my birthday in mid June, so since I got it late, I watched quite a few videos for guidance and I was too excited not to 😂. I put my houses exactly where I want them, and I'm so happy, and this will be so helpful when I unlock terra-forming soon!
im super duper late but custom designs get cut off if they have transparency, since hers use every pixel they fill up the entire square :D (even one pixel of transparency will make it conform to the path >.>)

I moved my Able Sisters onto a second tier platform and did a big rainbow with flowers at the base. Yesterday u started finishing the rest of that garden area with adding more flower beds, waterfalls and fountains. When I opened my map I realized my garden lines up with my airport entrance and I wasn't even trying to do that!. Now I have to find more in season bushes and decorate more. I also haven't done much with trees-just have pine trees and 10 fruit because I wanted room to make my island how I want.

you can eat fruits and use shovels to move trees without chopping them down. (if you ever need to terraform)

You can add weed when you get a 5-star rating like if you add weed at a 5-star rating it won't go down I think
I like the look of weeds too! But i go on custom designs and do mini flowers and clovers or leaves and put them on the floor
weeds don’t really affect your island rating once you’re at 5 stars. you can also water them to make them grow and look prettier :)

I’m a bit disappointed in the 5 star rating requirements. Being someone with major OCD, I find it difficult to place a bunch of furniture outside because it looks like a cluttered mess even when it’s placed strategically. Does anybody else feel this way, or am I just nitpicking? :3
maybe try forming it to where it looks like a room! i seen people make little cafe shops by just using fences and flooring to make it look neat

Your cute pig is styled like a vintage piggy bank! The 1960s style daisy stickers on her head are part of that whole look. That’s also why her house looks it does - it’s meant to be a bank with a vault. :) I find her cute still, despite her tombstone threat!
I received the game for my birthday in mid June, so since I got it late, I watched quite a few videos for guidance and I was too excited not to 😂. I put my houses exactly where I want them, and I'm so happy, and this will be so helpful when I unlock terra-forming soon!

how does she place customs designs over the paths without them getting cut off at the sides? I have the custom design pro but it still cuts them off 😭
im super duper late but custom designs get cut off if they have transparency, since hers use every pixel they fill up the entire square :D (even one pixel of transparency will make it conform to the path >.>)

Anyone who has adhd & ocd will tell you how difficult it is to terraform their Island, but w/ the island planner its so less stressful. I was given a golden casket ($80,000).It will be used for my mother's memory. Great vid. Keep up the good work. :)

I moved my Able Sisters onto a second tier platform and did a big rainbow with flowers at the base. Yesterday u started finishing the rest of that garden area with adding more flower beds, waterfalls and fountains. When I opened my map I realized my garden lines up with my airport entrance and I wasn't even trying to do that!. Now I have to find more in season bushes and decorate more. I also haven't done much with trees-just have pine trees and 10 fruit because I wanted room to make my island how I want.
the internet has only ever made me smile, but since animal crossing, I have laughed a lot more, and the part when you showed Gala's home had me dead!!
