There are so many Mammoth stories that are the most terrifying. I had my worst crash EVER there in the 90s during a race. Locked bars in the Dual DH going 45-50 and sent both of us to hospital.
Rough, my worse crash was on Smooth Operator making a stupid mistake and went too fast down the wall ride and I went flying off the side. Ended my race season until next year.
it would be nice to see more of america represented in the world cup scene. get to some actual mountains like the rockies or sierra nevadas and showcase some real downhill tracks.
Gotta get that Vitamin D! 😂 With Snowshoe being the easiest track to walk up, my question for you both is which is the most difficult track walk and have you track walked UP the Hardline course? Keep up the good work chaps 🤘❤️🌈🕊️🌎
Can you please balance your music and voice volumes. The music is so much louder than the voices I feel the need to change the volume throughout the videos.
5:28 Andreas Kolb says 2019 at Snowshoe was maybe the time he was most afraid on a bike. Ask Loic Bruni what he thinks about Danny Hart's performance at Snowshoe that year. Yeah, I'm a diehard Danny fan. Let's go, Danny!
Hey it's all good man, Danny Hart along with Warner, Pagey and Champery will forever own the most iconic run in the entire history of downhill. The combination of factors that made it possible can never come again.
You know what would be really cool, if you put your sponsor bias aside and talked with a wider variety of riders, even if they're not sponsored by Fox ;-)
SERIOUSLY wtf , why is there only 1 World Cup in the US, at Snow Shoe of all places! We invented the sport thieves. It actually makes zero sense. Have some respect for heritage and culture. Bring it back to Mammoth Lakes. Take Football 🏈 instead. Hee hee
Its up to the venues to want to put on an event. It costs a lot to host a World Cup event for all the reasons you could imagine. In an ideal world there would be multiple events per country, but not feasible for such a relatively small sport. To be fair you could probably stage an amazing 'World' Cup series just in France!
True that, but I also feel UCI is ran mostly by road cyclists and they are all in Europe, therefor, it behooves sponsors and teams financially to keep it over there, but it was never theirs to take. US would have no problem financially taking our sport back. Look at our spectators now, there are so many its nuts. Snowshoe has no accommodations and it is in the middle of no where. There is no where to spend money at Snowshoe there are no businesses, so the local economy can barely benefit.
@@AppleJack76 true. But Mammoth and Tahoe have way more money S Shoe and I live near Mammoth so it would be very convenient for me. Im selfish ill admit it.
@@asun3630 we are all selfish. SnowShoe isn't in the cards next year, probably due to the UCI's cost increases. Sure Mammoth (Alterra Mountain Company) might have more money, but if they don't see profits, they don't care. Maybe back in the Dave McCoy days, Mammoth would have been on the calendar, but not today, where money talks.

How BK could think of anything other than blowing up his wheel at hardline....
It’d be nice to see UCI add some of the big mountains in the US to World Cup. So much burlier stuff out West

Great work !! Look forward to what’s next!!
Next question best American phrases “Let’s get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeee,”

i don't trust Kolb as long as i can't see if he's a Vulcan or something.
Yes! Wolverine is scary! I'm so glad it's not just me.
No track walk =( , but honestly good work boys.

Do the pros "redo" their suspensions for every event? if so, does than make sense?

If I win the Powerball, I will bring it back. It only takes money, and lots of it.
