Very nice. Can you please ask Jordi to go into the RAD program a little more? Not the details obviously but what the program is, at what point in the development they bring prototypes to World Cup races, etc. Thanks!
You gotta hand it to the Syndicate with the kit this year: Its colorful and it looks great (for the most part) on all of them and I love how they constantly switch it up from race to race!
A lot of riders just don't understand that their tyres are part of the suspension, Jordi's spot on, it's not always something you can adjust via the fork/shock.
jordi i know you wish i was there to help you. it’s okay. i’ve trained shaffer in everything i know about forks. how to use them with your right hand. how to use them with your left hand. how to use them to communicate to your waiter you actually aren’t done eating. how to communicate to your waiter than you are done eating but then quickly switching the fork to another position on the plate so that you fake him out because you know he’s been kissing your cousin behind the dumpster. and so you use that fork to -
Another excellent video, great to watch here in the UK...Question, why is the LSC adjuster on my 34 Fox factory fork fitted to my near new Atherton AM.130 so very difficult to feel or hear the clicks when turning it? On all the other dials it's very easy to feel and hear the clicks as they are rotated. (sorry I understand that these videos are not question and answer ..but hey...here goes nothing!)
Probably just a little too much grease on the detent balls. If you have a grip damper you can just remove the dial and wipe some grease out and then the detents will be more noticeable. But leave some grease you don’t want those tiny detent balls to rust.
Question for Jordi: Have recommendations for SAG percentage changed over the last 10 years because of technology changes? i.e. common wisdom is 30% for enduro forks but today I keep hearing more like 20%.
30% is a normal sag suggestion for the shock for a more plush feel, which is not the same as the fork. People often think the fork and the shock are the same thing like the shocks in the bike would refer to both the fork and shock but the sag difference are an important example as to why correct and specific terminology is important.
Can someone explain why the dh world cup has only two events in north America given mtb history and how big mtb is in the mountain areas like pnw or whistler.
Part of it might be that there's a huge drop off in entries when they come to the US and Canada. Example: In Les Gets, there were 170 Men Elite from 29 different countries in the start list. At Snowshoe there are 99 from 17 countries. ( Last year at Mont-Ste.-Anne there were only 94 from 17 countries.)
Because it financially makes no sense for the locations. They have to pay big dime and meet expensive standards to even get a race and no way of turning a profit with attendance. The only way to make it happen is by looking at the larger picture. History of the sport is now written by Europe and the heritage is also there after so many years of dominating it in every way. The best tracks are there (and we dont even get to see most of them because of the aforementioned reasons), most of the top riders come from there. Attendance is always great. The locations in Europe understand this and are ok with the idea that the best they can expect is a break even - but what they get is mindshare and riders coming to their place all season long to ride there. I dont think that is how they approach the whole thing in the US...
THANKS JAVI. Everyone show appreciation to the good bike shops/mechanics, including JAVI.
Yeah Richie's on DH 🤘

So Jackson just told us about the new silent damper
What up with the 67 old woman on the background lol 😆 😂
Beat me to it .. what happened ?! 😂
She’s got a huge kitchen I think.
So annoying!
Dialed before work rather than Dialed in bed. UK style. Ready for the day ahead.
Hoffman's kit is so sick
She’s so cool is Nina. Cool kit naturally 👍

They came around. Longer videos. 🧡
This is the best series on the DH World Cup! Almost makes me want to try a Fox fork again but I’m not done riding my Helm yet 😅
Love the Dialed series!

Man, I love dailed !
Hey I just bought a bike from Peak Cycles in Golden, CO! They are good people!
Marine appears to have a very good mind for suspension
Beans and Franks! Go BK!

Richie!! More Richie
Ha! Thanks Javi! :-)
Hey, question for Jordi.. how do you manage the fact that the tips you give to pro riders in public may give advantages somehow to their opponents?
I guess I don’t care. Everyone is welcome to try
Is the Greg Jordi bromance over?
More Richie Rude!!!
and the Polar Bear
Oooooo silent damper!?!? 👀
At around the 7:16 mark of the video. Watch as Jackson gets off the bike. He has a glitch or twitch. Kinda Weird. Jackson is a A.I. robot...Hmmm
Re Tahnee is that a too slack steering angle 📐 thing?
Hmmm Rad. New damper cartridge huh?
Ep 46 instead 45? 😅
neeed a Chade appearance

We’ve never recommended 30% on forks .always 15-20max.
So, no I don’t see that it’s changed

A PNW race would be amazing!
It would be awesome. I wonder if it’s because very few areas in North America want to pay the oodles of money it costs to host an event?

Silver Mt. could host a solid race.
