    Why don't you call the vowel sound in HUT the schaw ?

    • @mrmememe777
      @mrmememe777  2 года назад +1

      The schwa is only in unstressed syllables. One syllable words like "hut" have one stressed syllable called a short "u" sound. Thanks for watching.

    Are you really sure about the short “u”? I have never heard it being pronounced like that.

      I am sure. My colleagues at work and I were talking about boxing. I mentioned the uppercut and everyone heard apricot. It was clear contextually that I was trying to say the boxing term and not the fruit , but it sounded a bit weird to them in some way.

    so the biggest problem is how to get which letter is in the end (ha d\t, co p\b, ) if Americans don't pronounce it its like Ha...Ca...Jo...

    • @mrmememe777
      @mrmememe777  3 года назад +2

      It's a stop T/D. It's not silent. Check out the video for a complete explanation. ruclips.net/video/M5-_0EBmo0Q/видео.html

      @@mrmememe777 I see but even if its a stop T/D its so hard to get, to hear if its T/D
