never correct a teacher unless it's an emergency or something practical like a time/date and place for a meeting and the teacher miscommunicates the meeting details. you never win correcting the teacher, they will dislike you no matter how much they claim to the contrary. Most teachers are in the job for themselves and their EGO, the students are just a props in the pursuit of their career and ego.) avoid correcting people in life unless it's your job. seriously, you want the teacher to like you. you'd be surprised how much a teacher up-score tests and assignments when they like you or think you're smart. outside multiple choice tests a teacher can give you high marks if they think you expect it or they think you're smart/likable. life isn't fair. the best students read all the assignments before class, speak very little in class, and briefly flatter/banter with the teacher after class.
