You're right! Marcin created his own "variation" about Playing God and asked Tim if he's interested in developing this and making final recording together. And Tim said "cool!" 🙂
Marcin is currently the world's No. 1 guitarist, and his new album Dragon in Harmony is currently the best-selling instrumental music album in the world. He has just completed a tour of North America and Asia, and will be touring Europe in the spring. Paris has already been sold out. Marcin is a fully trained musician, having studied classical guitar and then flamenco guitar and other guitar techniques. He combined all of this together and created his own new style of playing the instrument without reference to the history of the instrument, which is why he can't be compared to anyone else, because there is no one to compare him to. Marcin plays neither flamenco nor classical. Marcin plays in his own style using all these elements of different styles. Marcin's phenomenon is that Marcin will play anything that others play, but only a few of those others are able to play what Marcin plays. I suggest you go to his page on YT and there you will find everything Marcin knows about music and what he can do, and there is a lot to listen to. You may be strongly surprised by what you find there.
Marcin Patrzałek won a music show in Poland when he was 16, then won in Italy and reached the semi-finals in AGT and recently had concerts in Japan and South Korea and other countries in Asia and also performed in the UK and France
Hey guys! One thing I kinda disagree with is the statement that anyone with enough practice can be at a certain level. I don't feel like this is true. For instance, school. Some people never have to study and ace everything. Others study their butts off and can barely pass. I believe it is a talent or gift to be as good as Marcin. I could practice every minute of every day for 10 years and never be as good as him. Some people are just blessed with different skill sets. They say we are all good at something (I'm still looking for my something...LOL 😂) Anyway, great reaction!! Y'all make me smile!!! You need to check out Marcin's NBA halftime show he released a few months back. It is so good. Thanks again! Hope you both are doing well. Sending you love from Texas!!❤❤
Marcin is a master gitarist with next level technique and one of a kind for use to enjoy , thanks for your great reaction and please watch his cover of Heart shaped box . It is very beautiful and fun to watch . Loved your reaction. If you have never seen Angelina Jordan's new video called Bad Valentine check it out. cheers.
Marcin wrote this song with Tim in mind on purpose up in the Polyphia alley. Subbed for more Marcin! Please check out his new album Dragon in Harmony :)
Hi guys, great reaction. It sounds like Polyphia deliberately. He knew that he wanted to work with Tim on this one so he gave it that flavor. He actually wrote the song a few years before he changed it. Not sure where the church was, but the outside scenes were shot in New Orleans. He never practices more than five hours at a time. Now that he is touring, he only practices for about two hours before show. He says that you don’t have to practice for eight hours if you practice with focus on what you were trying to achieve. This information is straight from the horses mouth as I am one of his patrons. 😁 the reason this song is called Classical Dragon is because he has a classical background, and he was born in the year of the dragon which it is again this year. The name of the album is Dragon in Harmony. Greetings from Southern California. 🤗💋🥰
@tammyhill3798 Hey Tammy!! Such a GREAT comment, thanks for these tasty nuggets. Super helpful, especially the background on the song title. Thanks again!!
It’s amazing what this man can do with a guitar! I enjoyed watching your faces in reaction to what you were seeing. Thanks, Guy, for picking up on a new quote for their merch!! The playing in this video is exceptional. Long day; new doctor an hour away, sugar just plummeted, which makes me super tired. More appointments tomorrow and Wednesday. This is where I’m happiest after a day like today!!! Catch you tomorrow for Jonah 🔥 🎶 Cyd
I hardly recommend You any of Marcin's pieces. He is a real master of guitar. If You want enter to Marcin's world. You will be never disappointed listening to his own compositions or very original covers.
Marcin recently gave an interview to Polish media, in which he said that he only practices 2 hours a day before a concert. If there is no concert, he does not practice. He also gave another kind of interview to Rob, in which he discusses and shows what his playing technique is. He said that practicing the elements that are worse and need improvement is more important than time for practice. Learning is more effective then.
Hi guys! It's pronounced Mar-seen. I first saw him on America's Got Talent several years ago. He just turned 18 and came over from Poland. Another great one in that style is Mike Dawes. Look him up. " I'm an awkward goat" absolutely has to go on a t-shirt! Put it in your merch store an I'll buy several! Thanks again.
Ah, thanks for the pronunciation tip, Guy!! We LOVE all the new (to us) music you bring to the channel, THANKS AGAIN!! And LOL on that "goat" saying - we may just do that, LOLOL!!! ;-)
@@musikbyjh Actually it`s not proper pronunciation (Polish "c" has nothing to do with "s"'), but I think it`s the closest version English/American speaker can get. ;) Oh. And one more thing: his last name is Patrzałek. ;) Have fun with that. :)
Marcin started at 10 and within 4 years he was already a master. He said on various occasions that he practised only about 5 or maybe sometimes 5 hours a day, and that it is crucial to practise well, working on your weaker points.
great guitarist. I also saw him for the first time on American Got Talent, good reaction, and I hope you like other musicians from all over the planet. I also made a request from a Brazilian guitarist “Yamandu Costa”. another fantastic musician. Yamandu Costa, and excuse the expression, literally “makes love” with the guitar.
In my very, very humble opinion (I know nothing about playing any kind of instrument) his way of performing sounds better when he does covers. With his original music it`s harder to realise how insanely good he is. It may sound ridiculous, but honestly I prefer what he did during America`s Got Talent. And yes - he should have won that contest. In fact jury was way behind him and his skills.
I think the talent is what allows you to come up with original concepts and sounds / ideas etc that catch people. Practicing will allow you to mimic others well, but you gotta have something more to be a unique standout in anything. At least it feels that way to me.
I mean who can't play that? I think they play in their sleep to get that much practice time in for that level play. Talent will definitely motivate you to practice. Who wants to spend that much time and energy on something they aren't good at.
You might think that 80% of Marcin’s life is dedicated to practice, but it’s not. In fact, he makes it a point to limit his practice to no more than four hours a day, believing that anything beyond that is counterproductive. His approach is highly focused - he zeroes in on his weakest areas, works on improving them, and then moves on to the next weakest area. This method ensures he’s constantly improving and avoids the stagnation that comes from over-practicing the same things repeatedly. It’s a strategy designed for growth, not just repetition.

Check Marcin's Master of Puppets / Carmen / Sweet Dreams / Paganini Caprice no. 24. It is 💥💥💥💥💥

Thanks so much, Cyd. Are you doing ok (health wise??). Glad we could be a little escape from the day's stress!
Like someone wrote: Tim is a master at making difficult pieces look effortless, and Marcin is a master at making difficult pieces look even harder.
