If you have an xbox 360 e power supply, there will be an extra white wire, and that one goes with ground, just wanted to say that for people having problems
I did this with Xbox360 with no problems at all. The power supply was12v and 10.82amps, my amp is (1100peak) 783W per channel I believe with a 30A fuse. It powers them PLENTIFULLY! Awesome thanks!! 👍
Meaning of power ratings not as described: It is the audio amplifier that determines how much current is drawn from the power supply, not the rating on the power supply. The 25A fuse on the amp means that it may draw as much as 25A. The Xbox power supply is rated for only 16.5A, which means that if you try to crank up to maximum sound output, the power supply will probably introduce distortion ripple and get hot. But that maximum sound output would be 15A x 12V = 300 Watts! That's 10-20 times more than you'll ever use in a home-size room, so there is no power problem. But both boxes are way bigger and bulkier than they need to be.
what you have to do is disconnect the power cable from the xbox brick wait until the red light goes out then plug it back in.i fixed this issue all together {because i had to do this every time] by adding a cheap cap.now i have 3 amps and a crossover running off of it through a schitt dac fed by my laptop.all hooked to a surge protector so now i turn everything on and off by the surge protector and i also noticed a hum if you use different outlets for it all.i no longer have this along with one touch convenience its easy dont overthink it.you could even do all this with a jump starter kit for about an hr lol
You can also parallel wire multiple Xbox 360 or Xbox one power bricks together for more current which makes your subwoofers louder and reduces your risk of a voltage drop parallel wiring them together is more efficient
@@musiccreator3222 that defeats the purpose. Alot of people have old Xbox 360s sitting In Their garage collecting dust. Why waste mo ey when you ready have it
