Have u noticed that the orange pearl princesses r the most powerful? Or is it because they feel for the villain and sing from the hearts n their intentions is that they r trying to help the villain n not defeat them? Or r they just powerful?
Tbh I noticed that too. I guess it probably has to do with emotional connection. Since the songs are technically trying to convince the villains, singing the songs not for the purpose of defeating villains but caring or symphatizing with them ultimately gives the song a more powerful message/literal power
Their connection to the villain would give them the ability to have more compassion for others (As they would understand that simply doing evil things doesn't make a person evil.). And so their love would be stronger and in turn their powers.
Even to this day, I still get the fuzzy and warm feeling in my heart when ever I listen to this listen. Thank you Eri Kitamura for the lovely performance for Seira. You did not let us down. I just wished Mermaid Melody was recognized more or at least the songs since they can be so lovely.
