Excellent tips! I would love a video on the mindset you had when you were a beginning player and what mindset actually took you to the place where you are now.

The number one trick that you need to know that every pro forgets to teach you is that if your cords are buzzing it’s probably not that you weren’t squeezing the fret tight enough it’s the fact that you’re smashing the strings way too hard with your pic and need to learn to play with a lighter pic hand

My strings buzz. I always thought my strings were old..

My ‘aha’ moments were tips 3 & 4. I’ve always tried to anchor my thumb on the top of the neck as I thought that’s what you had to do and I reluctantly move it to reach some chords. Now realise that’s it’s good to be flexible & angle your fingers & move your thumb. 🎉
    Thanks Andy

Thank you. Early on, I got into playing in the middle of the fret & always wondering why my music kinda sounds like a tin can.🤣 Had to fight myself not to blame it on the guitar. 😬 I knew that somehow, it was me. Now I know what the problem is. Thanks a lot, Andy.❤️😁

Thumb position is my bane. Moving from a barre chord to an open chord I have to move it and sometimes I can't find the most comfortable position

Good thing to know put when you're a beginner you're not too worried about this at most rock stars don't do that because in the end up going over and play the wrong notes even power chords it's good for recording songs but when you're playing live it's difficult
