I built a homemade hoist lift with a hand crank winch in my garage and 550 cord. It works great. I also keep my door bolts off. I can do doors and all in under 10 minutes. Great video, I also love the swim noodles. I will have to make a video of my system. I SUBSCRIBED.
Thanks soooo much. Lots of good advice especially about leaving the bolts partially unscrewed or off. Can't wait to take mine off for the first time. 👍
Get the Topsy lift. I take my top on and off all the time by myself because it's so easy. Also the top hangs on the Racor lift on the ceiling up out of the way. You should check it out.

I heard about a guy who can do it in 4 minutes and he's short and hairy. There was some baller who is really strong who said he could do it in 2 minutes.

Add a vinyl black circle to mimic the gas cap to even out the IG handle. You can have a subdue American flag in it or an advertisement space.

I do the same but, no door stopper bolt, no door bolts and since I have a JL sport without power locks or windows I also leave the harness unplugged

How much does the hardtop weigh (not including freedom panels) I assume the JLs are lighter then the JKs? Pop Topp is $900!
