Yea I ordered a pack of boxers from his site a year ago in December and they finally arrived 4 months later with ad for his movie and a personally addressed headshot saying love is blind. I thought the reason it took so long was that he does this all by himself and just has a room full of boxes and packaging and he can’t keep up, and when I received the package it was so sloppy and goofy with his handwriting on it too I realized that I was right that’s exactly what he’s doing. An all around lovely experience though

If you have any interest in The Room, you should totally read The Disaster Artist. It was written by Greg Sestero, who plays Mark, and is about the making of the movie. The book has also been bought by Seth Rogan and James Franco to be turned into a screenplay with a movie coming out this year. James Franco is playing Tommy, and his brother Dave is playing Mark. I could not be more excited for this movie.
And the audiobook is narrated by Greg Sestero as well, he's really good at mimicking Tommy's voice. It's hilarious. Greg also switches between talking about his early years with Tommy and the actual drama happening on the set of The Room. All the things that happen when he's with Tommy just gets better and better. After all these years Greg is still so confused by Tommy Wiseau, it's intriguing. Really great read or listen!

I remember, there was a time during university (cinematography) when me and others students where talking about each others ideas for short movie and 1 person had this obsession with a specific totally wrong plot but nobody tells that ' cause "oh X really loves that plot" and i was like: but it sucks, deal with it.
6 years later and I’m coming back to thank you, Felix. 😂 You convinced me to watch this movie and now I have it on dvd and got to experience seeing it in theater. It’s so funny and has brought me so much joy. Thank you for introducing me to this horrific masterpiece of a movie. 😂

Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" is what happens when you don't tell your friends how shit they are at their passions because you're afraid it'll crush their dreams.
I remember, there was a time during university (cinematography) when me and others students where talking about each others ideas for short movie and 1 person had this obsession with a specific totally wrong plot but nobody tells that ' cause "oh X really loves that plot" and i was like: but it sucks, deal with it.
In that case I won't be honest and crush their dreams so they can create artistic gold like this.
You know what they say... love is blind.
6 years later and I’m coming back to thank you, Felix. 😂 You convinced me to watch this movie and now I have it on dvd and got to experience seeing it in theater. It’s so funny and has brought me so much joy. Thank you for introducing me to this horrific masterpiece of a movie. 😂
