While it has lost it's record to Wicked Twister and Legendary Twin Dragon, this ride is still the tallest, fastest, and longest COMPLETE circuit Inverted Coaster out there- and this ride packs a punch! All three B&M coasters from Busch Gardens Williamsburg reminds me of 3 Disney movies. Alpengeist reminds me of Frozen, Apollo’s Chariot reminds me of Hercules, and Griffon reminds me of Beauty and The Beast.

First real roller coaster at age 12 was lochness monster & I was HOOKED after that! I rode EVERY roller coaster in Busch Gardens MANY times in Virginia. Alpingeist was my favorite because it was relaxing and was like flying! ❤😊 I haven’t been back since a kid, but I will definitely someday! ❤

It was my number 1 coaster when I rode it when it was new in 1997. I had a death grip on the grab bars because I thought I’d fall out!
