@@OutsidewithScheib nice. I have a husky 460 and I bail for my ms250 all the time for smaller stuff. But I don’t blame you. If I had a 500i I may drag it around with me everywhere like a good hunting dog with its head out the truck window lol.
I put 6 tanks through on my 500i on Saturday. Oiler on a 1/1 ratio with gas. But every tank I have to tighten the chain. Major slop after each tank. 25 inch bar. Going through big wood. Never had a saw need that kind of adjusting. Schieb did you notice a very loose chain after going through all those rounds?
Sucks that it is getting dark so early in the day now. Curious, why keep using the 290 when you have the nice 500i? Some people probably wonder the same thing about me and my saws.
Yeah it sucks but it only means deer season is right around the corner. As for the 290 it still works and is a great all around saw why not keep using it?
I have the Ms 462 c and I thought that was a beast but man that 500. Idk if I like the fuel injection system on it. That's why I went with the 462. But my buddy who cuts trees for the forestry up here in Northern California got the MS 880 and ya way too much saw for me 👍🏽
Nice power saw to run isn't it. Nothing personal man, a pair of Bucking chaps or safety pants might show the kids the proper way to protect yourself. Just a thought man. Great video.
Hey buddy you do good work you like your chainsaw don't you the chainsaw the Beast I bet you get tired out when and let chainsaw I bet you get tired running that chainsaw text me back bud
Be friggin careful out there.. the MS 500i can't handle an 18inch red oak landing on the handle... trust me I learnt this the hard way....lol.... smashed the handle and the air intake... still in the shop getting fixed...
schieb is makin the fire wood great again
Looking great & both saws were cutting awsom..
Those Stihl saws are amazing
nice haul of fire wood....
Good job. The Ohio Wood Burner Ltd., sent me and I'm glad he did.
Lot of nice firewood there, now the fun time of picking it all up. Saw cutting great
Eye protection and chaps would be a good idea. I, too, have a 500i. I use a 20" bar, since my firewood is not larger than that.
Definitely he needs chaps. I don’t start my saw without them on.
Great marking and cutting. Lots of red oak. Have a Safe Day
Thanks, you too!
Awesome score! You had the chains sharp and the saws cutting good. Thanks for the video.
A perfect tree for the getting. 500i rocks. Good video.
Nice work Scheib! Like the saw and nice score. Cant beat it!
That 500i is no joke!
A wood eating machine!! Nice Oak 🪵🪵🪵👍👏😎🇺🇸
You got that right!
Awesome videos sir I am.fire wood busines I just bought Ms 462 cm love that saw like my 291 n Ms 180.
Good choice!
I am dying to run a 500i. Clearly a fast saw. Btw what a great tree for firewood, a lot of it in just that one tree!
I like your new video this was really cool video buddy good jop on your wood this will make nice wood for you love your video buddy 🍺🍺
I'm a logger and I use a 500 everyday I work...they are an absolute beast
I know brother way better then my 290
Love the 500i but to limb that’s a boot camp workout. Total punishment. Great job with the filming/editing. Easy watch for shore.
It is just as heavy as the ms290 not to terrible to work with.

The new Stihl MS 881 chainsaw is brutal!

Fantastic physical workout .. and an awful lot of future stacking.....and splitting.

Thanks 👍
Nice tree Mr Scheib!! Looks like there’s going to be some real nice firewood there. Thanks for sharing!👍🏻👍🏻🍺🍺
Hello everyone. Good score of wood! Saw sounds like it's running good! Keep up the great videos. We appreciate your hard work.

Like you I use gravity and cut the hanging wood first.
there's 3 kinds of oaks where I live
live oak
red oak
water oak
my favorite is the hickory it's smells so good
Can't lose with red oak!
You need to buy a sawmill. That oak is worth more than just firewood. Enjoy your videos.

The 500i weighs less than the 462, I think. I find it less fatiguing to use than my previous MS441C. But it is hard to start.
A lot of wood in that one.
Why twiddle the throttle so much?
I got a big hickory I need to cut up I may get the 661 stihl and put it to work
Nice!
schieb aint scared of nothing
Not much scares me 🤘🏻🤘🏻🍺🍺🍺
I'd sure like to help Mr schieb I luv doin what he does cuttin n splittin that wood
Also at what size are you cutting your logs into just wondering?
18 inch for my personal use 16 for the firewood stand
@@OutsidewithScheib ok copy that

As for me, I'd bring my splitter right up to the tree and split it there if possible .
Nice.😆 😆.💪
That is an awesome firewood tree, and that saw ate right through it.
Super akce 😅😆🤗🚜🐻🍗♥️😛😝😀🐙🎻🌽💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Must be new to running saws. Scary!!!
