Literally no they haven't, because I'm the only person with a beta build of portal, I recorded all of this footage, so it can't have "been posted before." because i hadn't recorded it yet! Most of this hasn't been seen before. Definitely not the maps with the star trek doors nor any of the early hl2-esque maps besides a short picture of the relaxation vault at a con during a valve presentation one time and the portal post-mortem that explained some of the boss battle iterations I've kept pretty religious notes of portal media releases over the years since portal's announcement stopped me from killing myself in 2006
I think your video recording settings are a bit off, because your videos always seem to have heavily crushed blacks levels, making dark areas of games too dark. You should double-check your settings for your recordings (or maybe your video export settings?) to see if you can fix this. I emailed you a while back about video editing stuff but never got a response. Hope you can go back and find it at some point!

The fact that Narbacular Drop folks came from the same DigiPen tribe that later brought "Perspective" - a free 3d-2d platformer that I appreciate immensely - has utterly blown my mind.
I know this is a early build of Portal and it could probably be just a random model but...have you guys noticed that at 7:10 you can see you're playing as a male instead of a female (Chell)? And since everybody knows Half life and Portal story are connected, and this version of Portal took place on Nova Prospekt, couldn't that be Gordon?
+German Lehmann I don't think it's set in Nova Prospekt, but that it was simply a placeholder aesthetic to kick start the development. If it is Gordon, then he too is also probably just a placeholder model. As for the stories being linked, they are only very loosely linked as far as we can tell.

the tune that was playing at the end of the video was the same song that GLaDOS sang at the end of portal 1
