Be it as it may, I have read many apocryphal books and many of them do not contradict the Bible as you may think. Many of them have honestly filled gaps in the Bible and not only that but they reinforce the commonly used Canon. The apocryphal book of Ezra has increase my faith in God and has made me make big changes in my life to align myself with God's word not just in with my words but with my actions. I pray to God to guide my path and my actions and guard my heart. He has always steered me in the right direction. I really think you are missing out if you don't test this book for yourself.

Many have written books that don't contradict the Bible. Many of them are beneficial books. Even I can write a book that don't contradict the scriptures. As long as I don't claim it to be God's revelation or inspired by the Holy Spirit, that's fine.

My friend, God as you call him has always guide you. He is Yahweh, also know as Jehovah, our true living God. He has used your hands to do his work. He uses your eye to see, your ears to hear. It's something, there are so many books, and religions, all telling us to look within ourselves to find the kingdom of the soul. The kingdom has always had a king, but sometimes we tend to forget that. In other words, we lost our way living in this world. He gives us our freedom of choice and from our choices we hopefully learn, and when things go adverse, he is there to save. You can test the book, but the law was written within and the living God said, "And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it." And if you doubt, it is written, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.". The king lives. The kingdom is at hand.

Amen, when I first read the Bible (KJV) I noticed a lot of unusual words and phrases in the BUBle that didn't make any sense. I thought I was going crazy, but I know in my spirit that I am not because I was able to discern these things as I was reading the Word. There are a lot of sexual innuendos implemented that are being glorified in the KJV, a lot of blaspheming the Lord and belittling Jesus by calling him a woman. There are words that are not congruent to these time periods and there are words like "musick" which is the way witches use and its not old English. Theyey even changed the Our Father prayer as well. I remember it saying "forgive us of our trespasses", and not "forgive us out debts". In Isaiah I remember it saying "And the lion shall dwell with the lamb" not the wolf. The wolf is a predator. I am so relieved that I am not the only one who sees this. I found out there are others like me who also see these things as well.

Thank you pastor for the video, I think it'll be helpful to alot of people in having confidence in the scriptures. I think you have maybe unintentionally minimized apocryphal books. Although they are not fully inspired books, I believe a true disciple of the Lord can read them and interpret what parts are inspired and what isn't. Esdras, Enoch and others are referenced in the New Testament and have many sections that can only be recognized as inspired by God. While there may be parts that we are unsure about, we can divide them carefully. They were already in circulation in Jesus day, otherwise he wouldn't have quoted Esdras over and over. Again I know that the Roman Catholic Church lies about the apocrypha, and that they technically added it as part of of their Canon at the Council of Florence and then confirmed that at Trent, but these books do have some merit. Just because the RCC uses Macabees to proof text their evil indulgences does not mean we cannot consider the book as worth reading.

No, I don't think the bible we read today, is the same bible that was originally written in Greek Aramaic Text 2000 years. There have been translations done with the bible from the Aramaic text to the Old Testament and the new king James text. So, I have to believe when the bible had been re written, into the English langue, there was stories and information edited out from biblical times from making it into the New testaments politically. So that those in religious standing/power could maintain control over the human race naming the (Catholic church).

If everything needed to be set in concrete forever then Jesus could have availed Himself of some of the many public scribes and notaries and dictated everything He wished humans to learn about Heaven. Instead He promised to send The Spirit of Truth to reveal all those things that He could not reveal at that time. The Spirit of Truth was expelled from Christianity by worldly men who thought they knew better than mere spirits sent by God.

There is absolutely logical reasoning to asking why books referenced in the Bible are not in it. A person’s salvation is not hinging on asking the question. A true follower of Christ searches the scriptures dedicated and searching continuously for the truth. There is a difference between the books that are inspired by God himself and other books. To say the teacher has opened a can of worms is ridiculous. I have researched this long before this teachers lesson. It is just as Josephus and other books have to be considered mam written and what is actual truth is for me to search in the scriptures. If it is not in the scriptures I question it because I know what is in scripture is truth. God himself says the scripture is for reading and re reading and proving against what others say. HE also said that HE will keep HIS WORD intact. The fact that China and now WEC with AI Technology wants to rewrite it says volumes for me. Salvation and all we have to know is in the Bible. What I am personally wondering is where is the little book that John ate that is sealed up until the end? Thank goodness for the 2 great witnesses, the 144,000 and even the angels who will come an preach during the end times.

Think about this: do you believe that God, Almighty, Omnipotent, All-powerful God the Father would be so lax about His Gospel that He would actually allow us to continue with an incomplete Bible? Would He have really let that happen only for these people who suddenly have had “revelations,” us, living in times of great deception that so easily can light up the world in that deception? Is God so weak and lax, is He not in control? I can say that God hasn’t given me a “wrong” Bible. Jesus’s Words haven’t changed. Do you believe the cacophony of worldly voices who talk about “lost” books, “missing” books, “changed words,” and whatever else- or do you turn to the quiet, peaceful still waters, always constant, always the same loving Jesus. He gave us this blueprint. His Word is pure and the meaning has never changed, not ever. He’s never weakened and faltered. People change things all the time. Too many these days, adding to or removing from, exactly what God tells us not to do. God is always constant, He never changes. His meaning doesn’t change, though different words are used. We live in a changed world and languages changed so how is it surprising that words are different? The meaning hasn’t changed. I read comments where people even talk about the punctuation “not being the same.” I’ve never heard so much “wisdom” from so many corners. I don’t know them, but I should take their word over God’s? I know my answer. You can make up your own mind. Pray quietly, away from the noise and the din and the crowd. He is there. There’s an old hymn, “I Know Whom I have Believed.” He tells us not to be deceived. He tells us about the wolves among the sheep. The world will fall away but He will never leave you. He promises and delivers. Would you trust Him and His Word?

Deut 4:2 (KJV) and Rev 22:18-19 (KJV) tell us there can be only one preserved Word of God. And yet version after version is spewed out to deceive.
There is not a power that is not given by God. Through providence God raised up the most powerful nation there ever was or will be, the U.S.A., and in its infancy it was given the preserved word of God; “Robert Aitken, a Philadelphia printer, was the first to publish the first American edition of the K.J.V. New Testament in 1781 and the K.J.V. Old Testament in 1782, omitting the Apocrypha. On completion, he petitioned and received from the Congress of the Confederation, an official endorsement that Aitken added to the binding of his Bibles, to assure colonists that they were buying a non-royalist edition: “Resolved, that the United States in Congress assembled… recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States and hereby authorize him to publish this recommendation.” As a result, the Aitken Bible (KJV) is often referred to as “The Bible (KJV) of the Revolution.”
The nation was given the KJV, not the dead sea scrolls, not the book of Enoch, not Hebrew books etc. but only the KJV. If God wanted us to understand his word in Hebrew he would have raised this nation up speaking Hebrew. Back in the 1600’s God saw to it that the certain scriptures were translated into English “KJ Bible” and was put into print so that all could read for themselves the truth that in in the scriptures. God did this because he knew that he would bring about this powerful nation [U.S.A. and the English language] of ours to lead the world. The scriptures were written by apostles and prophets inspired by God through the Holy Ghost. The compilation and translation to English was also done by the direction of God through the Holy Ghost and he did not make any mistakes, i.e., the fourth horse being “pale” was no mistake, the horse is not green.
In Greek mythology, the name Chloris (Khloris Χλωρίς, from khloros χλωρός, meaning “greenish-yellow,” “pale green,” “pale,” “pallid” or “fresh”) appears…
Pallid 1. pale; faint or deficient in color; wan: a pallid countenance.
People say that they believe that scripture was written by the direction of God and the Holy Ghost, which is true. But what you people don’t seem to realize is that the compilation and translation of the bible (KJV) was also done by the direction of God and the Holy Ghost. If the bible (KJV) was written and compiled by men of opinion and perspective and translated by incompetent translators then you might as well throw it in the trash. The prophets were told what to write and how to write it, 2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV)
The nation was given the symbol of the Eagle, 37 … Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. Luke 17:37 (KJV), the body being the Church, the body of Christ. The nation has the motto and preamble “in God we trust” and “one nation under God”. This greatest and most powerful nation the U.S.A., has been given the last and best chance to lead the world to heaven on earth or destruction. But like all other nations of power before it (symbolic Israels, Rev 11:8 (KJV)) the U.S. has chosen destruction and is now the great “liar” saying “in God we trust” and “one nation under God”, it is now the conglomerate of the dragon, beast, false prophet, and harlot, it is Satan loosed from the pit, 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth Rev 20:7-8 (KJV).
And yet no one seems to know of or speak of a very clear fulfillment of prophecy in our recent history. We (U.S.A.) are the ones who brought down fire from heaven in Aug. of 1945 and we are the ones that gave life to the image of the beast in May of 1948. Rev.13:13-15 (KJV).
    All glory to God. Amen

I would be interested on your take of Josephus against apion being a contempory book against the disciples, i am sure i read somewhere that josephus was writing to a disciple of pauls?, Josephus at that time was a pharisee and in his writings you can see his biblical version is different to Our Bible, what Jesus taught and what Paul and the disciples taught. I feel through Josephus you can see the battle the disciples still had with pharisees after the temple was destroyed, and easier to see if pharisees taught in the synogues as josephus did,, we can see through The new testament a better context. Churches need to stop upholding Josephus as an important book for churches to understand Temple times, but put his writings in context with the truth of the true bible.

The Book of Enoch was considered as Scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (4:3) and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras, Clement of Alexandria, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.
By the 4th century, the Book of Enoch was mostly excluded from Christian biblical canons, and it is now regarded as scripture only by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
Jude 1:14-15 specifically mentions the Book of Enoch (Enoch prophesied) and if it wasn't the inspired Word of GOD, then it would have never been referenced in the Canon in the first place.
The same thing with the Book of Jasher, Nathan the Prophet, Gad the Seer, etc; which are all mentioned in the Canon, but yet are not considered Biblical Canon in modern day versions of the Bible. But go back 400+ years, and they were ALL considered Biblical Canon by the earliest Church Fathers.

    ~ 1 Chronicles 29:29-30
"Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

He also in the same epistle endorsed Apostle Paul’s epistles.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; [16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. [17] Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Not yet saved and born again from above in the spiritual Church. Just like the Church back in 1890 dismissed and kept James Strong's numbers translation of the original manuscripts found into the English King James Bible kept hidden from their congregations until the Church today!!! The scriptures does say not to judge anyone, but that's only for the unsaved. But once you are chosen to be saved and the Holy Spirit enters and resides in you, you become one with Christ!!! I in you, you in me! Just quoting scriptures! So Jesus said if my spirit is not in you, you don't belong to me!!! Oh yes! About judging people, once Christ is in you and are one in the spiritual Church, 1Cor. 2: 15 says; But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man! It's best you read 1Cor. 2: 1-16 to get the whole meaning of being born again from above in the spiritual. I've been trying to understand not really church and how they were handling these books that seem to be referred to as apocrypha.
It seems like the one argument is that they think the books were taken out of the Bible because they were originally in the Septuagint that was the Greek book with the Torah and other Jewish writings in it.
Some argue that Saint Jerome never considered them scripture that was god-breathed to when he translated the Greek to Latin.

You say that the apocryphal books aren't in the Bible? What?! The original King James bible from the early 1600's includes the apocrypha. I own the book and know this as fact. The apocryphal books were part of the early Church scriptures that were being read and taught.
Shame on you for directing people away from these books and still calling the bible the Word of God.
The Bible is not the Word of God. Jesus the Messiah is the Word of God. This is proven in the first chapter of the gospel of John and in the nineteenth chapter of the book of Revelation.
Jude directly quotes the book of Enoch. Joshua directly references the book of Jasher. Neither of these books are in modern bibles.
Jesus is the Word become flesh. Jesus is the living Word of God. Jesus is the infallible Word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. His sheep hear His voice.
The original king James bible (1611) has over eighty scriptures. The Roman Catholic bible has seventy-six. The modern-day king James has sixty-six. I know this because I own them and read them to study.
The bible is a compilation of Holy Spirit inspired scriptures, psalms, proverbs, and letters. Scripture did not become flesh. Scripture was not in the beginning. Jesus became flesh. Jesus was in the beginning. Jesus is the Word of God.
Beware of "teachers" who push you away from scriptures and who themselves are trapped in cognitive dissonance toward scripture they were told wasn't canon.
Wake up brothers and sisters in Christ, the book of Enoch was written for us and especially this generation. Our early brothers and sisters were reading and studying it.
Christ is the eternal Word of God. Scripture is edifying and good for instruction, but scripture is not and has never been the Word of God. Scripture points us to the Word of God.
Beware of those that incorporate with the government and call themselves "the body" of Christ. Christ adds daily to His church those that are being saved. Let there be no divisions among you and avoid the ones pushing division. Christ's body isn't divided. The Bride is spotless before the Groom.
Christ did not call us to incorporate with the government to recieve tax benefits. This too can be using His name in vain.
501.C3 tax write offs. A doorway to corruption. Jesus turned those tables over in the temple for a reason. The Kingdom has no mixture with Caesar. Friendship with the world is enmity with God. Choose God or choose Mammon. We can't serve two masters.
Where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there with them. The Church belongs to Christ.
The church is not a building. The church is not steeple. The church is not a resting place. The Church is a people.
The Church of Rome is the epitome of what it means to take the Lord's name in vain.
What Rome did at the council of Nicea when they took out tons of scripture and created the "canon" is evil. King James added many of them back in 1611 in the original king James. Modern versions are stripped down and taught to be the "Word" by confused men and women that are blinded by Christendom, ignorant of this error, or they're just plain wolves.
The early believers had over ninety books (manuscripts and scrolls) to study from. Over time, the snakes keep taking pieces of scripture away.
Test all things, hold fast to that which is good and study to show yourselves approved before God, not men. Don't let the fear of man stop you from studying scripture. Ask Christ for discernment and dig in.
It's wrong to say these books shouldn't be included as they're directly quoted in scripture and referenced.
    Shalom
    Maranatha Lord Jesus!

💜THIS IS THE BIBLICAL WAY TO BE SAVED:
There Is only one God, in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. ONE God.
Humans are ONE person ( in three parts) The body, soul and spirit. Three parts, ONE person.
The Bible says that we are all sinners.
As it is written: There is none righteous , no not one. Romans 3:10
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6
For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word death in this verse means eternal separation from God in hell).
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1Corinthians 15:3-8
In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14
For by grace ye are saved, through faith; and not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21
Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus shed blood on the cross to pay for your sins.
The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.
