The Grifters is a great movie. It’s a twisted noir crime thriller which will celebrate its 35th anniversary. One of John Cusacks best movies that really defined him as a dramatic actor in years to come. Definitely worth picking up.
I didn't grab the Paramount Presents edition of Chinatown in 2024 as the heavy price tag was greater than my desire to own the film, glowing reviews notwithstanding. But I probably will snag the standard edition. My most anticipated title is actually The Searchers, as copies haven't arrived in Canada yet. 😃

Yeah, with the releases of January, the only past films I really want that haven't yet released in 4K would be Interview as well as the Nightmare on Elm Street Collection, but it looks like the latter at least is happening by the end of 2025.
Do you know if the Director's cut of Reindeer games has a new transfer or is it the same scan as before? Sucks that's not on 4K that's the only way to watch that movie
Can't believe after all of the rumors and speculation that both Kill Bill and Se7en are FINALLY releasing in 4K, and in the same month. Not sure it can get any better in 2025 after that. They are both going to be some of the first films I watch on my incoming 77'' G4 that will be here this Thursday. Speaking of Shout... someone should talk about how they removed an entire scene from "Riddick", seemingly to censor or possibly play the woke card. Sure would be nice if a channel that gets views would expose it. THey did not disclose it previous to the release neither (and have not yet that I know of since). Shout is on the naughty list.
