Slot's overall style is more similar to Guardiola than it is to Klopp's, he just uses the same general formations as Klopp. I'm expecting to see a more possession based style from us when he comes on board. If that is to be the style then a real mobile CDM is an absolute must. Slot also uses the fullbacks a little differently. The left back will sit back much more and the right full-back could well invert as Trent has been doing. The style of play from us this season has looked more like a Slot style than a Klopp's and that's probably Ljinders influence on the tactics now. It must be the dutch way.

What Liverpool supporters don't know. For Feyenoord supporters, Liverpool is next to Feyenoord their favorite team. You see a lot of jersey's of Liverpool at a regular game in our competition. Your club is bigger, our harbour is bigger. We have the same spirit for football. Passion and love comes first. We both don't want a choach who is big headed. Like Morinho. Big coach, but with an additude. We want a smart coach, without big talk. We don't want Slot to go away. But if there is a team that we want him to go, it is Liverpool. You play the same game as us. 4-2-3-1, whit here and there some detail changes. Slot build Feyenoord as a machine, but a machine people go for to the stadiums. Not dull. Some of you say that Feyenoord is way behound PSV this year. So he is not a good coach. Feyenoord has the same points as last season, and then they where champion. PSV is this year the club that rises above their own, probably the champion with a record of points. Your manager Edwards is a smart cookie, he found the perfect coach for youth, Liverpool playstile, continuence of the footbalschool, tactics, media. If Liverpool has an easy start in the competition, not like 10 guys in the sickroom. No dramatic referee judgements. A lot of commotion around the team. Slot will build a Liverpool machine. He did with it Feyenoord, with a low budget and a young team. Now he gets the best players that already know the system. Just in details different. In football you never know what future brings. As things stay normal around Liverpool, Slot can do his work, you bought the winning lotery ticket. I wish Liverpool the best of luck with this great coach Slot. We are going to miss him a lot.

Reflecting on Klopp's era evokes a bittersweet feeling, not solely because of its success, but because of the unfulfilled potential that loomed large. The cracks in the system and the gradual decline were glaringly obvious, impossible to ignore. While skepticism about FSG as owners lingered from the start, time only validated those doubts. However, my perspective shifted towards Klopp's management from the 2020-21 season onwards. It began to resemble the Benitez era, marked by an overbearing sense of authority. Klopp's growing arrogance and unwillingness to heed advice led to he's 20 of friendship with Zelko Buvach (the brain) to abrupt end, and the exodus of key personnel from Michael Edwards' team. This, in turn, eroded the team's performance and stained Klopp's legacy. Despite having the unwavering support of FSG, that's FSG we're too afraid to say no to him because FSG knew full well how much the LFC fans love him. If Klopp were to indicate that FSG not listening to him then fans will drive FSG to the other side 9f the pond for good hence the support. Klopp seemed reluctant to request essential reinforcements for key positions. The over-reliance on a handful of players such as VVD, AR, MS, TAA, Fabinho, and Henderson was glaring, especially given Klopp's demanding style of play. The lack of depth on the bench was not just evident; it was alarming. It's confounding why Klopp failed to address this issue. It seemed as though he had forgotten his role as the manager of Liverpool FC, instead focusing on his sway over FSG. This shift in power dynamics led to a situation where accountability became elusive, akin to the behavior of dictators.

A lot of speculation there but I think after Edwards and Buvac left, it placed so much more demand on him that eventually he wore out. Club legend who will always be remembered fondly.

@@AllRedShow Our fan base primarily consists of accountants, which explains their tendency to engage in discussions regarding the cost-effectiveness of our players, while other fans focus on winning trophies. Despite our accountant fans finding satisfaction in acquiring players at lower costs, they do not directly benefit from it. However, FSG's support extends beyond financial backing. For instance, they made significant changes, including dissolving Michael Edwards' recruitment team. This decision indicates a willingness to accommodate Klopp's preferences, underscoring his influence within the club.
FSG's understanding of our fan base is evident in their strategic approach, maintaining a narrative that emphasises that we got no money, resulting in comparatively lower financial investments than clubs like West Ham and Aston Villa. Despite Liverpool's illustrious history, which includes six UEFA Champions League trophies, second only to Real Madrid and AC Milan, not to mention the league position and domestic Cup success, those fans who perceive FSG didn't back Klopp financially. This raises the question: why haven't these fans held FSG accountable?
It appears that some fans allow emotions to cloud their judgment, failing to engage in critical analysis. This may explain FSG's emphasis on competing rather than solely focusing on winning.
Furthermore, Liverpool FC is a globally recognised football club, generating a significant portion of its revenue from global TV rights and its expansive international fan base. Criticizing the club's management without attending matches is an unfounded and baseless claim.

I love Klopp like a family member but sometimes a new vision can be beneficial. Maybe that is just me coping. Lol. But a decade is a long time in football these days , esp with all the exposure / social media that goes on today vs the Ferguson days. Ppl don’t speak enough about where we may just improve. I think a few players may need to move on, bringing in a new , fresh energy where players are hungry and about the TEAM.
**Quick note: FSG are a significant factor. I think they know more on what went on with Klopp. Regardless they have to back Slot, back this team, & back the club. Too often, esp after Edwards left, the communication w/ FSG & Klopp seemed poor & usually unorganized. Ambition from owners is key element on the pitch imo . We don’t need to spend money like CFC but needs must be addressed within the squad. Villa for example don’t spend like City but their owners act w/ ambition. FSG need to act like they own Liverpool FC. Top 4 can’t EVER be the standard. Everybody needs to do its part & all pulling in same direction.
