Man, all this interest in Lauri will prove be costly to the Jazz when they negotiate his contract extension because the Jazz will NEVER trade Marrkinen.
Why doesn't anyone talk about Lauri's ability to stay healthy, doesn't have one season with 70+ games, if we can get him without involving keegan do it, if not move on.
makes sense but with jazz not wanting to be good the past couple of years lauri was probably coddled with any little thing , in other words there was no real reason to play him
@@isaacsamaniego7418 Yeah, the last two end of seasons he was "injured" so the Jazz could tank a bit better because they'd been doing too well for the long-term plans. His actual health has been better ever since he got out from the Bulls physical training regime, that really did a number on him with incorrect training.
@@CorporalCookie Bulls tanked many seasons too and he sat out multiple season ends. The most egregious one being his rookie season where they pulled him for the end of the season for irregular heartbeat after 3OT game and monitoring his heart condition without ever returning with any info on the subject. Sounds like a total tank job. His sole season in Cleveland was the only one where his team hasn't pulled the plug on the season and there he was legitimately injured with a sprained ankle mid-season.
Prices are to high right now and I would hold off and start the season with what we have. I don’t want to ruin our future for A question mark. I don’t mind being patient for another year or two. We went from the worst to one of the top and we will be there again. When the time is right we can get our guy to push us over the top. I want to get to the top and stay there for a while.
Utah MUST trade LM or they risk winning too many games and losing their top ten protected pick to OKC. To be guaranteed Utah keeps its 2025 pick they must finish 1-6 worst in league. That = losing = Must trade LM. or not play him....
Kings really gotta pencil in and choose which two players they REALLY want and feel that they can get and go all in on one of them. If they keep hem and hawing, they're gonna miss out on everybody.
As a Jazz fan, I would hate to see Lauri go and I hope they keep him. I do think that Jordan Clarkson will be traded at the deadline this year. He needs to show that he can still shoot it and get his turnovers down. From there, a team on the fringe that's looking for depth is going to send Utah a solid offer to pick him up.
If Lauri renegotiates-and-extends, the extension 6-month trade restriction would put Markkanen’s trade eligibility past the trade deadline so they either trade him this offseason or they would have to wait until the next offseason.
Sacramento needs to make a move before the season starts maybe even in the next week or 2 or Fox won’t resign , why would he resign to a team who had a cheap and scared front office , Monte man …trash
This aint 2k my man. Gotta trade that 50m to get Lavine. Now you don't have anybody to trade for Lauri. Now you gotta pay Lavine, Fox, Sabonis and then extend Lauri? Not gonna happen.
Monte needs to pull the trigger. Trade the farm for Lauri, he'll make us that much better on offense playing along side with Sabonis. It's a no brainer. Vivek need to stop being cheap. Give them Keegan, Devin Carter, three 1st, two 1st swap, and two 2nd. That'll be hard for Ainge to turn that down. Don't stop there, now go get Kuz, Demar, Lavine. Now we're talking about truly contending.
@iW34Rglasses00 Give me an argument why my trade would not be good. Don't just stated that and give no response back. It's cheap and it's weak. You're ain't weak are you? So, tell me why its a bad deal? Let's talk about it like Kings fan.
@pvantran82 First, you're not that important. I'll respond when I feel like it. Second, if you think we can get kuz, demar, and lavine with only Kevin Heurter and HB, you're high, sorry, but that's not happening. One of them, maybe, but all three is crazy. Thirdly, trading keegan for potentially 1 season of markannen is stupid when keegan is five years younger and you have him under control for the next seven years, and he projects to be just as good. I'm not saying what you suggested doesn't immediately make us better, but you're mortgaging the entire franchise for one year of a good team that imo would still not be a 'legit' title contender because they would be a horrendous defensive team.
sacramento would def have to include keegan murray and GS jonathan kuminga just to get ainge to start talking.

Hope they don't trade Murray. He's going to be a great player.
Agreed. Even if Markkanen is an upgrade over Keegan, it’s not enough to make them a title contender anyways.
Murray has been made known as untouchable in trades from what was reported. My guess is this is pick heavy of an offer.
