I watched Hellen Kellet just a few minutes ago. I could not help searching for this little actress. I did think that she was actually a deaf and blind girl by the way she acted. Wonderful actress!

LOL I can tell how young people are by them not recognizing Howie Mandel with hair. My generation knew Howie as a young man with thick curly hair as the cast of St. Elsewhere. His costar was the young Denzel Washington. Then he became famous for his standup comedy. He shaved his head in later years.

Hallie is definitely one of my favorite child actresses. She's so wise beyond her years! I can't get over how adorable her dimples are. She looks exactly the same, now, as she did when she was little. I LOVE that Howie gave her a Green Cheek conure at the end! How sweet! I wonder if she still has her bird. I have a GCC who just turned 25, so her bird could still be alive. 🙂
