For me MIUI is the best. Because you can customise anything. There's MIUI market. You can change fonts, icon, themes, even the quick toggle style and notification shades and so on...i mean everything... perfect android UI.
Miui is the perfect combination of the freedom provided by android with the visual aesthetics of ios. It has the two strong points that characterize the two most used mobile operating systems. And all for a much more affordable price than the competition

Yeah, but MIUI is not so stable, I use MIUI 11 (global stable) and my phone just randomly freezes and notification bar is glitchy and themes are bugy etc. I can't even send SMS due Xiaomi sim card services won't work like they should. This shouldn't happen on few months old mid-ranger...
Meanwhile on planet earth: Still no Android 10 for Mi Note 10.

Even though it’s a copy I like this new update. But you’re right they’re so heavy, they need to optimize these animations for low end devices

Try to render all acreen compositioning to GPU, it much better and fluid i think, i did it to my renote 8 and it feels like iphone LOL 😆
But keep it mind better performance will cost more battery consumption but its ok for me tho

I am not paying my money so that I have to disable certain features in order to get a phone that doesn't lag. That way. I can keep the phone inside the packaging box. It will never lag.

1:03 why does the dedicated control center need a second swipe down to view the other settings? Why couldn't all the toggles be shown immediately?
It kinda defeats the purpose of separating the quick toggles
With the new animation and more beautiful wallpapers i suggest staying dark mode and power saving mode and dark wallpaper so the battery wont drain as much becauz of miui 12
I've been hoping for this day for so long gosh, I've always been aware of how serious apple was into animations in their iOS, and all the other vendors just never get it right, I'm glad xiaomi took one step further in Ui animations, but there's definitely still space to improve, very little stuffs that could had been perfected

TechDroider Oxygen OS became so popular because it was like an official custom Rom. Regular people quickly liked the features available in custom rom since years without the hassle of bootloader unlocking and Flashing Rom. I am currently on stock miui and used Oxygen OS briefly on other’s phone but I quickly start missing some of the features that I got accustomed to in miui.
The new control center looks nice, but I don't like the notifications are now separated like in iOS. Notifications would stay under the control center, or at least there should be a choice
For me the best is Oxygen OS fast smooth animation minimalis and betrer optimization regards on battery and some custumizations other OS is good but Oxygen OS is the best for me period

Xiaomi crippled the Turbo Charge for USB PD spec in MIUI 12. Typical untransparent Chinese behavior to cash in on their proprietaty fast charge shenangins. Google has memoed manufacturers requiring them to support PD for compliance. Manufacturers are trying to cash in on standards that are already in place. Most users wouldn't have a clue. Charging for 30 minute charging difference is criminal when it is already in place.

I love MIUI over all of them. I've experienced all of them and the only one I think comes near to MIUI is OxygenOS and stock Android when it comes to fluidity.
I don't like the copycat from iOS, i tought that Xiaomi it's more mature from now and stop inspiring from iOS, but it's not the end of the world.
As long as it's good for the consumer who cares if it is copied from iOS, I go with miui 12

It's China Developer ROM, you should not Install it, coz there's many bugs.

How does it work with third party launchers like Nova/Microsoft?
On MIUI 11 notification badges over apps icons keep switching off on mi9 and have to restart a phone to restore them. This is soooo annoying.
Wish they fixed this.
There was also a problem with one-handed mode which stopped working after some time.

the oneUI is a beast i tried ios and Miui 11 but oneUI is so simple and strong
what i hated about Miui 11 is you can't have a menu for apps and just put the apps you want in home screen, that made me feel so messy and wasting a lot of time to look for apps i want

Stock Android and iOS 13 > OxygenOS > OneUI and Realme UI > MIUI 12...

@@abdulhannan5256 The point is, there's a clear difference between Android and iOS. Both are unique in their own way. Both do somethings better than each other. Android is known for its best in class notification management system. Xiaomi's new UI just took that and tossed it into the sea and implemented iOS's garbage notification system.

Don't like the Thicc brightness Bar. It is just Too Thicc this time. Xiaomi should have kept same size as in Miui 11.

This review seems to be honest, because i myself tried miui12 on poco f1 but it is soooo heavy, the phone isn't that Smoth even on the first boot, but can't complain as this is just a beta build which isn't even officially available for our device
Thanks, yeah the Animations are heavy. They've added Gifs, JPEG which makes the whole UI heavy. They're going away from a Clean UI

Looks like an os from 2013...too many animations too heavy...even miui 11 is not smooth ...and they just keep on adding heavy animations again....this is too childish...im done with mi phones... never gonna buy one again...realme ui when compared to this is just butter smooth and simple.

those new notification/toggle shades are terrible, a real step backwards. Much better to have toggles and notifications in the same shade, is there a way to turn that off?
There's a way right now to get back to MIUI 11 toogles, but they'll disable it with the Final Update imo

For those Redmi Note 7 user out there.. dont try to flash EU rom Miui 12 beta.. i'll tell you. Although its kinda smooth it has issues like you cannot change the clock format , and the controm center is super laggy in animation, i already adjusted the animation to .5x .. but still its laggy, it takes u 1.2 seconds to appear

Hate the way Xiaomi puts the screenshots inside DCIM. All my screenshots get automatically backed up by Google Photos. Hopefully they have fixed this by now, been going on for years.
