* In every game after game 7, AL was facing a team with more experience than any OSU played against. Think about 5 more games of experience vs 5 weeks of trying to simulate experience.
* OSU knew 42 days after AL that the Big 10 was going to play football.
* AL was 3-0 before OSU took their 1st snap
* AL faced AU. MI/OSU was called off.

@@mas5867 i don’t think he’s making an excuse. It is what it is. Texas, with a returning elite qb, all 5 o-line starters returning, elite wrs returning, and 10 of 11 starters on Defense returning, was more prepared for that game in week 2.
Alabamas team, which has a bunch of new starters, including a qb with only 2 collegiate starts under his belt, have continued to gain experience and improve all season.
It doesn’t take a genius to see that Alabama is playing better football than Texas at this point in the season.

That was not a dominant win, Alabama has a lot of holes in its defense. LSU is overrated like all of chip Kelly’s teams at Notredame. Alabama is good but not great, this year they have made a ton of mental errors which definitely unalabama like. Alabama got exposed early by Texas and this is the reason the win against LSU is a win, not dominant.
Calm down doomer, LSU is the top Offense in the country by every metric. They were going to get points.
Holding them to 28, is shutting them down. They only scored a single TD in the second half.

And since when is winning by 2 touchdowns now dominant? Bama beat Tennessee by 2 touchdowns and dominated the entire second half of the game. As they did with lsu since they only scored on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter
