      After taking that first cut, you can already see how much better the grasses look.

    Just keep scratching in more seeds . You'll get it nice and thick

      That's the plan, and the mature hay we took dropped seeds as well to help with the thickness of the grasses

    As I recall alfalfa, and Sudan originally came from arid parts of Africa. It takes some getting it started, but it's tough.

      I'm amazed, gonna thicken the stand and should do well in the sandier soils.
