You weren't kidding with the advanced part
Also, Trackspacer
trackspacer is the shit for this exact thing.
Yep much easier than doing this
Soothe to
Was going to say the same thing trackspacer, but great video 👍🏾
Trackspacer is magic
Q3 is such a must have EQ. Trackspacer does the same thing quicker though
Try this with soothe 2 for even more transparent results!
❤ ❤❤ Streaky is the best!
Now this is a real Pro advice.
great tip, love it
This will be a forever new thing! Thank you
Awesome streaky
Thank you.
Thank you bro 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
..Streaky you are amazing..RESPECT and thanks for these amazing tips!!
Love this trick. Soothe 2 is my go-to for this.
I love this feature, I like to use on panned guitars to give them even more space from each other
This was Super Helpfull Once again thanx a Lot Streaky.
I have all the tools...now all I need to do is learn how to use them!! 😀Thanks Streaky for the excellent insight once again.
You a Real PRO man
Smart move with EQ match! Thanks, Streaky!
Perfect …….tank you …..!
Very impressive
Clever!
Thx man.
Nifty!!!
it works great. i did with with the dynamic EQ in Cubase 12 pro.
that pro q3 is the nuts its mad
Wow that is advanced sorcery! Works well too.
That one you only get here. Amazing.
unbelievable, how do you get such ideas
WOW
Wow
You could also just use wideband compression. This many bell filters on any signal is going to get a little messy.
waves has F6 RTA Floating-Band Dynamic EQ too which is more cost effective alternative.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🤯
This looks great and need to try asap! Honest question: wouldn't a plugin like Trackspacer do the same or equivalent? If not, what's the difference?
The difference is that Trackspacer can "roll" the frequency spectrum and duck where needed. Pro-Q3 cannot; it's all bands at once.
Thanks a lot for the tipp for the proq. Personally i use sooth2 in sidechain mode. Its even more detailed i gues and very simple to set up. 😃👌
Same here
Same, much better result than this - but you have to make sure you add soothes to every channel because of latency when doing sidechain (for some reason it doesn't compensate). I mainly use it only on buses
@@ScottThePisces I guess that depends on the kind of signal. If I use soothe 2 on a rythm guitar bus , I don‘t have that problem because the human factor is much bigger than the latency.
@@ScottThePisces that's only an issue in Logic, which doesn't add sidechain latency compensation
@@kaislivesoundchannel4706 the issue is some daws don't have latency compensation in their sidechain ability. Protools didn't have it for a minute, and Logic still doesnt
can we also apply this technique on our intrumental mix and sidechain it with the vocals ?
which DAW you using ?
Think im going mad but for the life of me i cant find your blooming bio Streaky ??
Can also do this with soothe or trackspacer
Yeah but if you got this plugin you better use it instead of buying the ones you mentioned
Me in the other side adding an imager 👀
when i put pro-q on my guitar and then i sidechain my lead vocal into the guitar to do the eq match, i cant hear the guitar anymore?? . i use fl studio how can i get around this?
All your recent tips I do, but with Sonible plugins, all are over 2000 bands so the effects of ducking instruments and mixes for anything, not just vox are so transparent you have to be real subtle with it, it has people thinking I’m I voodoo on the mixes…
Can't you do the same with pro-mb? or is this more accurate?
There's a slight difference between a multiband compressor and a dynamic EQ. It's not that this is more accurate, it's just that you can apply it on let's say a smaller amount of frequencies, while on MB, you would be ducking a band instead of a bell. Honestly depends on what you want to do, but in this case I kinda feel like it would be better to use the EQ to make the ducking more subtle as it only happens on some specific frequencies.
@@LeChapeauMusic Ah, interesting. I appreciate your input sir!
wow - thanks mate
Soothe2 does this for me much quicker
Its not doing the same thing...
Neutron does this, basically.
Very CPU consuming for me :(
I feel like we are less than a year away from AI being able to implement this with just one click. Or even automatically.
Just use your ears
🙄
@OfficialStreaky______ thanks 🙏🏽
