Yeah I love it too, if you're boosting when you die you go tumbling, if you're moving you tend to kind of tip over, and if you're at a standstill you just break apart in-place Love those little details

You had the right idea on unac to player co-op but your unac needs dual auto cannons. Try boasting it's evasion rate for Middlesex and evasion over energy priorities also as a mid to long range fighter. I haven't maxed out special boast but if it has a option to special boast away from it's assault armor upgrade special boast an use that. This is partly how I killed him an my unac was still alive.

I think Chief/Foundation found the White Glint Next, and tired to recreate, refurbish the Next. The IX could mean 9th attempt or Mk 9 of a series (I think the multiplayer boss version is 4,5, or 6).
It's because it is a prototype in a step towards the corporation trying to re-make the nexts. If you notice in the vid This next-prototype doesn't have an Over-boost unit and has to use a bike like one.

It's basically the foundations attempt at recreating White Glint, so to all of those people that say that they cannot make nexts anymore this proves that it is do-able and gives high hopes that nexts will be back in armored core six on the ps4
Jetstream Sam In Verdict day it was labeled N-WGIX by the scan mode. So it's NEXT White Glint Rank 9 still! It even pulls off that "Round 2, asshole!" aspect of the White Glint Hard mode fight from For Answer. Honestly, the first half of this mission's fight is easy with a heavier mech, where you can just kick it in the face vs the second half where it keeps it's distance and you take damage at a low constant and keep your ally to help.

OKay i think i understand where you are getting confused. As a person who got the game preordered and am part of a SSS team and have played the game almost constantly since launch I can clear this up ^^ you see, Motherwill in this game is actually the wreckage of where you destroyed it in For answer. If you notice all of the random junks of stuff protruding from the sand around it you'll notice that they are the tops of it's legs, and that over the centuries it has laid there the desert has begun to bury it over time. Same with the panels that are broken and bent down, they are that way because of it being blown up. As for the construction stuff all over it that is there because people have tried to outfit mother-wills corpse into a fort basicly ( which is why there are all the base defenses over it) And as for black glint, he is a prototype made by the foundation in an attempt to regain the power they once had with next's at the front lines of their whims( just as it was hundreds of years before) the foundation is the corporation from five and wants to regain the power corporations once had back in the day. These games are set after the orca ending in for answer where the cradles are shot down. in fact one of the maps in multiplayer actually IS a cradle that has crashed and smashed up, further enforcing the timeline. The games are set in the time after the orca ending, where mankind is finaly starting to regain control of the world they almost lost to kojima irradiating the majority of the planet. I hope all that helped clear things up for you :)

Major Kolton There are clearly two motherwill arms forts in the back ground for this mission. It also takes place on a different continent than the one where you fight motherwill again. It seems at some point they mass produced the design.
This game truly died when they made it online only. I only like the first 3 official games, armored core 1, 2 and 3 on the ps2 after that they just sorta became cash cows. No way they have made a profit in years.

Echo7099 Yeah but you have one advantage and that is that the one piloting White Glint have a really LOOOOOOW Allegorical Manipulation System (AMS) which means he isn't a capable Lynx even if he is a capable pilot because NEXT's are controlled by the AMS even if he is an outstanding pilot he can really control White Glint like any Lynx of the previous generation of Armored Core I mean he is SLOW as fuck with one of the most ungodly powerfull next ever created I mean that shit have technology from the Corporations AND Line Ark, seriously that shit have a Kojima Particles generator of Hyper High capacity, Primal Armor and Assault Mode, One of the most complicated boosters systems and engines never made it, a freaking radar able to work pretty much in every possible place that shit works even in the space. The reaper squad leader was just a common human being just not enough for that NEXT

Mechs in ACV and ACVD are basically normals with NEXT technology. NEXTS are considered lost anciet technology so nobody knows how to make them anymore. There's also a cameo of Motherwill somewhere in the game.
the towers in acvd also hold much of the technology from ac 4 and fa (not nexts though) The foundation is the one who essentially causes all the disorder in this game

TheAstrius its relies more on energy, you can boost on a standard boost to get around faster but quick boosts and overboosts will help and be used a lot more but only if you have the energy, also some laser and pulse weapons can drain it without the correct gernerator or if its really powerful, also the guy in the video should have used his scan mode a few times to recover his energy faster its a nice mechanic.
TheAstrius well now its "physics" depends of distance to target and muzzle velocity or KE weapons, but you have CE weapons which do not rely of speed just may have to aim up for longer distance shots, and the TE are where you have to be energy centric. Energy weapon based builds personally are somewhat hard to build because you really have to watch the energy gauge in battle, the standard boost combined with charging a laser rifle for a better shot can drain it fast depending on your generator!
lol all the noobs that rocked black glint back in FA got their answer. But yeah if you want to kill the last boss, just use a dual auto cannon tank. Kills in less than a minute flat. Most players farm this guy for cash.
You know I used to be a master at this game well 2 and 3, no one ever beat me even when they had more numbers against me. I was probably the best one in the world I played the game pretty much all day back then. Super quick twitch reflexes...I would have owned all of you.
AcFA was fun but 4 was better. ACV was ok, I think this ACV Extra is a good do over. 4 being the best new gen AC I've ever played. Also, NON-DISAPPOINTING BOSS DONE RIGHT.

Their complaints basically boil down to "I DON'T LIKE CHANGE! EVERYTHING HAS TO STAY THE SAME!!!" I've been playing AC since AC3, and I have yet to play a "bad" Armored Core game
lavulman just remember, it's not as slow as mechwarrior or hawken :P plus the newer games are gearing more for pvp, and leave the storyline in for fan-base purposes only to keep the games lore intact.
lavulman idk, personaly I enjoy all of the AC games, they each have their own flavor of gameplay. Just like food everyones not going to like every gameplay type. I respect your opinion but personally i think they did pretty good considering how low funded AC is :)
VD actually had one of my favorite campaigns amongst AC games. The reason the game is shit (at least now that is) is the online gameplay. There's really not much room for creativity; the meta's pretty much broken, and that's a major turn off for most competitive players. The main thing holding the meta back is the "super effective" vs not effective damage system. This leads to whole builds being defensive counters to another's weapons, and renders a large amount of weapons useless, and limits creativity and variety in the game. And with the way things are boiling down to right now, it's kinda like a sniper/ karasawa fest, with the winner being whoever breaks the other's shield first. People can use other things, but there is a theoretical strongest AC, and that's indicative of an unbalanced meta, especially in a game that touts it's customization as a selling point.
Yeah I agree with that whole heartedly, build if you ask me its just that the people messed up on the patch and need to revamp it with a new one. they toned down ping damage then brought it right back up, and people are abusing it. making it so that the only way you can kill a super ping dame guy is by bashing him with massive amounts of damage, pretty much eliminating some play styles from the equation or making them increasingly difficult. We need a new patch, but what would be better would be a release of new parts and guns that could help diversify the game because right now there are only certain builds and perfect ways to make them.

SLF496x Well for starters you should really look into the developers of the game before making up accusations. 2nd, The basic understanding of this concept is that Armored cores aren't suppose to be built better for military warfare's. Otherwise...it wouldn't be in the hands of greedy and war loving mercenaries. Because if you think it's a bullshit concept, then armored would stop at the very first development where Stinger, Nineball, and many other Titanic doomsday Technology would undoubtedly kill humanity in one shot...but guess what? we still kill them anyway. It's suppose to show the determination and willpower of a mercenary desperately trying to live in a forsaken, decimated, and corrupted planet that's on the edge of its downfall. Simple to say: This video is not showing the idea that Downgraded AC can kill a next. but it shows how determined a single human can push himself to the limit just to survive on the battlefield regardless of what cruel intentions it holds. I honestly thought by watching gundams and many other mech genre shows, you would see just exactly what I'm talking about. 90% of the shows have that same idea.

This mission is much easier with a longer range FCS and a long glide-boost duration.
The best way is with a auto-cannon tank though :P can get it done in under a minute that way since it does effective damage to him

Echo7099 Yeah but you have one advantage and that is that the one piloting White Glint have a really LOOOOOOW Allegorical Manipulation System (AMS) which means he isn't a capable Lynx even if he is a capable pilot because NEXT's are controlled by the AMS even if he is an outstanding pilot he can really control White Glint like any Lynx of the previous generation of Armored Core I mean he is SLOW as fuck with one of the most ungodly powerfull next ever created I mean that shit have technology from the Corporations AND Line Ark, seriously that shit have a Kojima Particles generator of Hyper High capacity, Primal Armor and Assault Mode, One of the most complicated boosters systems and engines never made it, a freaking radar able to work pretty much in every possible place that shit works even in the space. The reaper squad leader was just a common human being just not enough for that NEXT

i played every Armored core game known to man bt i havent played ACV or ACVD, n really want to kow the explainations of how this ties in from ACFA...y are the ACs hella small compared to that NEXT (if thats a NEXT) n wat r they called now?, wat happened to all the NEXTS?, is that black glint zombie a NEXT? n wat ending is this off of? Mechs in ACV and ACVD are basically normals with NEXT technology.
NEXTS are considered lost anciet technology so nobody knows how to make them anymore.
There's also a cameo of Motherwill somewhere in the game.
the towers in acvd also hold much of the technology from ac 4 and fa (not nexts though) The foundation is the one who essentially causes all the disorder in this game

TheAstrius its relies more on energy, you can boost on a standard boost to get around faster but quick boosts and overboosts will help and be used a lot more but only if you have the energy, also some laser and pulse weapons can drain it without the correct gernerator or if its really powerful, also the guy in the video should have used his scan mode a few times to recover his energy faster its a nice mechanic.
TheAstrius well now its "physics" depends of distance to target and muzzle velocity or KE weapons, but you have CE weapons which do not rely of speed just may have to aim up for longer distance shots, and the TE are where you have to be energy centric. Energy weapon based builds personally are somewhat hard to build because you really have to watch the energy gauge in battle, the standard boost combined with charging a laser rifle for a better shot can drain it fast depending on your generator!

idk, personaly I enjoy all of the AC games, they each have their own flavor of gameplay. Just like food everyones not going to like every gameplay type. I respect your opinion but personally i think they did pretty good considering how low funded AC is :)
VD actually had one of my favorite campaigns amongst AC games. The reason the game is shit (at least now that is) is the online gameplay. There's really not much room for creativity; the meta's pretty much broken, and that's a major turn off for most competitive players. The main thing holding the meta back is the "super effective" vs not effective damage system. This leads to whole builds being defensive counters to another's weapons, and renders a large amount of weapons useless, and limits creativity and variety in the game. And with the way things are boiling down to right now, it's kinda like a sniper/ karasawa fest, with the winner being whoever breaks the other's shield first. People can use other things, but there is a theoretical strongest AC, and that's indicative of an unbalanced meta, especially in a game that touts it's customization as a selling point.
Yeah I agree with that whole heartedly, build if you ask me its just that the people messed up on the patch and need to revamp it with a new one. they toned down ping damage then brought it right back up, and people are abusing it. making it so that the only way you can kill a super ping dame guy is by bashing him with massive amounts of damage, pretty much eliminating some play styles from the equation or making them increasingly difficult. We need a new patch, but what would be better would be a release of new parts and guns that could help diversify the game because right now there are only certain builds and perfect ways to make them.

SLF496x Well for starters you should really look into the developers of the game before making up accusations. 2nd, The basic understanding of this concept is that Armored cores aren't suppose to be built better for military warfare's. Otherwise...it wouldn't be in the hands of greedy and war loving mercenaries. Because if you think it's a bullshit concept, then armored would stop at the very first development where Stinger, Nineball, and many other Titanic doomsday Technology would undoubtedly kill humanity in one shot...but guess what? we still kill them anyway. It's suppose to show the determination and willpower of a mercenary desperately trying to live in a forsaken, decimated, and corrupted planet that's on the edge of its downfall.
Simple to say: This video is not showing the idea that Downgraded AC can kill a next. but it shows how determined a single human can push himself to the limit just to survive on the battlefield regardless of what cruel intentions it holds.
I honestly thought by watching gundams and many other mech genre shows, you would see just exactly what I'm talking about. 90% of the shows have that same idea.
