This one is my new favorite songs by Nightwish. I love Tarja's version, but Floor takes it to another level. Breathtakingly beautiful and yet filled with sadness. The lyrics are so incredible. Tuomas the genius, really bares his soul with this song. Troy also adds a great new element to this arrangement. I have one big complaint about this song. It is far too short! Floor rekindled my love for this band. I know them for over twenty years now (gosh, Im old) and they never were better. This, right there, is the best Nightwish ever and if Floor leaves I think they wil close the curtain for good. Don't want to be dramatic but there is no 'after Floor'!
I don't think Tuomas would continue without Floor either, you are correct in saying that this is the Nightwish we were always supposed to have in the beginning. I've been a fan for around 16-ish years and it's so nice to see them all so content and happy with each other.

Amazing perfomance of an amazing song. I don't think Floor is ever going to leave Nightwish, she's very committed to the band, in fact some of her tattoos are Nightwish-related (the last one on her leg are the cuneiform writing/symbols on the new album cover). Yeah, I know people has their boyfriend/girlfriend name tattooed and that doesn't mean it's gonna last forever, but for her every moment and every record with NW is a milestone in her life.
Her tattooes started after she joined Nightwish. Look at Wacken 2013. Don´t reduce Nightwish to Floor and don´t ruin your body with tattoos. You´ll pay later. Yes, I adore Floor.

Everything what Floor brings there with her voice, small things + big things. Normally with this song, my tears start come out ... around her second word. And goose bumps all over. He ask me " You like this art of music"? i say yes and he present me Within Temptation and show me another CD Nightwish "Angel fallen first ".
