emppu's way of playing it's unique, it's what he likes. he can obviously shred as anyone else. why aren't? because emppu did something, not just playing in his house, front of a camera shredding, he created something.... and thats what makes him unique, his creations, his melodies

I think it reminds me of the Mummy-triology.. when they're travelling through the desert.. or as the end-titles.. anyway it sounds AWESOME :) it's something totally new for me, to listen to Emppu in this kind of genre..

What the hell is if not shred, is a very good song, in a record where all the guys are shred this song is a interesting change, and is not easy to play, i like this more than alexi a roope song.
x4n4t0s those other thounsands didnt write it, and writing is what takes skill, anyone can play fast or slow melodic solos but those who are really good write those solos. Just my opinion.

Emppu just plays with more Style instead with speed (the old nw Songs have more speed for example crownless). Booth players Are amazing Players and Are Abel to Play very hard Songs the question is just who do you like more.

I think this is in the Phrygian Dominant mode. If you get that down, figuring out the song shouldn't be too hard

Way late answering, but if you're still wondering, Emppu's shorter. Alexi was 5'8"-ish, while Emppu's 5'3"
