- Come paint this bluish purple Iris watercolor with me. Most of the watercolor is done in one layer and adding flower veins on top. So we have lots of chance to paint wet in wet, and we will practice how to control intensity and control water level on the brush. It will be great fun. Hi Kathy, You're such a great teacher!!! I'm so sorry you had Covid and were sick for a couple of weeks. I thought that you might be on vacation and was hoping that was the case, but I also considered you might be sick because your regularity of posting had been interrupted. I'm so happy that you're feeling better! Hugs to you!!! At night, I put a partially filled water bottle in the freezer for about an hour or so. That way during the night if I get thirsty, I have a capped bottle of water that might still be cool right by my bedside. 😊 Your iris is gorgeous and reminded me to do the drawing lesson again. And yes, it's always fun to do a tutorial with you!!! I love it! I always look so forward to each new video!!! I wanted to mention the background guitar music. It's really a nice addition; at moments though it competes with your voice a bit. As for the heat, I feel for you being from the desert in NM. If you have one of those small floor fans; they really help a lot. My husband uses one at work. Get completely well and take care of yourself!!! I so appreciate you sharing your gift with us! I can't wait for the next tutorial! 💕

You and I must be about same age we have to have water at night! I am doing a lot better now! I love NM, my in law used to have a fishing pond on cloudcroft, it was really fun to go visit when the children were young! @@sunsetpeonies I just love your cards! That turtle is so adorable and I love the sailboat - well I just love all your cards!!! ☺ My husband and I use to visit Cloudcroft for a day to get away from the heat and enjoy the scenery!. The fishing pond must have been a real treat!!!
