Lotharek, if 99% of the games need OPTION key to be hold, why not change the software of SIO2SD to revert this. Instead of 99% of the times needing to hold option to load game, then you only need to hold OPTION to start program/game that uses BASIC. It would make overal use of SIO2SD even more better. and it is rather easy to implement in assembly language for Sio2SD software. End result would be - select game, press enter, and voilas. Game on. Lotharek, I hope you see this. I bought my SIO2SD years ago and have always used the buttons on the device. I loaded into the Configurator you show in this demo today for the first time. I can navigate through but pressing Return doesn't load the games no longer how long I hold it. It just makes a repeating beep beep beep like when I press other keys. I have an Atari XE65. The SIO2SD is V3.1 and the Configurator is CFG_S2S n27 by Paero/MadTeam (c) 2011. Any advice? Do i need new firmware or new Configurator or something???

OPTION KEY is predicted with atari contruction. it may be changed but i presume one inverter neede inside to reverse orginal

awesome device, however i think the cable is a little short, it should be 2 inches larger

I updated to the SIO2SD.xex v3.5 and now it works!! I guess this feature was added after I bought the device.
How do I get that menu to select files? I just received it today and it just goes to READY prompt on my Atari 800xl.
it is on sd card. if You have sd card prepared by me hold shift at sio2sd when power on
