I still spend my summers “down the shore.” When my daughter was little she always loved shell hunting. I would buy fancy shells and my husband would secretly throw them while he walked a few feet ahead of us. It was a great feeling to watch how happy she was finding beautiful seashells. We did this for 10 years. And she would always come back to our shore house and save the shells. She’s 20 now and I just told her a few years ago that we put the shells there. She was disappointed that I told her the truth 😂. Someday I will do the same shell hunting with my grandchildren. It’s a fun memory that we have walking on the beach.
First holiday with your first child is a huuuge adjustment with feeds/sleeps/sun/sand and heat and fitting in all those activities. This is your steep learning curve and every time you go away again it will be easier than the time before. God bless you all xx
One of the best things about this video is getting to see Haley in those cute shorts and her bathing suit. Those chunky little legs with the little fat rolls were the most adorable thing! I think Travis is starting to really realize now that the Bates can be just as competitive as the Clark’s, even though you are a Clark now. You dunked him real good girl! It was hilarious. The first look on his face was like he just couldn’t believe that you were going to shove his head in the cooler. I was laughing so hard. The footage you have of all of you on the carousel and the train is just precious. Hailey loved looking at all the lights and colors and yes, I think she is teething! Drag out the bibs or you’re going to be changing her a lot more due to all the slobber from teething. I cannot wait to see her with her first two little teeth. She will be even more adorable and I never thought that could happen! I’m praying that you are going to pass a kidney stone soon Katie. Glad you’re going back to the doctor. I am from Northern Jersey up in Bergen County. I do live in Franklin TN now. I spent every summer vacation in Ocean City. Such great memories. The place with the train and carousel still called Gillians? Is their a putt putt next door? We used to rent bikes too and ride them from one end of the boardwalk to the other and of course get donuts. We also bought sweatshirts too. I am now 57 and can't fit in mine but my kids love them. I'm glad you had such a fabulous week. Thank you for the memories!
Trust me on this... Get a camping wagon. They fold up for storage. You can pack all your beach gear and little Hailey too when she is bigger 😊

POTS is aggravating. My 14 year old granddaughter was diagnosed in January with it. She got in a school bus accident and got a concussion. Then came the passing out and POTS was her new diagnosis😮. If she gets over heated she passes out for a few minutes. scary too. You are a lovely family and I love The Stew Fam too.

1. Ocean City Beach - New Jersey - Ocean City, New Jersey

My Sister had a kidney stone when her baby was three months old. The ER doctor asked her if she took a lot of tums while pregnant, which she did because she had heartburn daily while pregnant. The doctor said it's common for pregnant or recently pregnant women to have kidney stones because they had too much calcium in heartburn medicine. Not sure if you had heartburn or took a lot of medicine for it. My sis went on to have two more pregnancies without stones because she drank a lot more water and took less heartburn medicine.
Get some not cheap sunglasses and keep them on Haley with a elastic around the head. Any time she is out in the sun have them on her.

OK, I sent this on your other video but you might not have seen this SO PLEASE READ ME. IMPORTANT!!! OK, so I’ve passed 6-7 stones. I’ve had lithotripsy on my right kidney 3X and 2X on my left. HERE IS WHAT YOU DO FOR KIDNEY STONES. The pain is not from the stone scraping the ureter ( tube btw kidney and bladder). The pain occurs bc the ureter has a foreign body in it and so the ureter SPASMS. That’s where the pain comes from. WHEN YOU FIRST EXPERIENCE PAIN, take 900+ mg of IBUPROFEN. (You can even take 600mg as needed now instead of pain medication.) It will dull the pain. If the pain is on your right, think about going to the ER bc it could be your appendix. At the ER, ask for an IV and a MASSIVE dose of ibuprofen through the IV. Tylenol won’t work. The ibuprofen will stop the spasming and the pain will stop. Normally it doesn’t reoccur even while the stone is moving. If at the ER, get a CAT Scan to find the size. Before you leave, ask for prescriptions for FLOMAX (It dilates the ureter so the stone can pass. They may tell you it doesn’t work but I’ve passed a 7mm on it and there are no side effects.) PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH IBUPROPHEN (taken as needed for pain) and PAIN MEDS (Just in case.) See your urologist ASAP. If it’s too large they have to surgically remove it. If it remains for too long, the blockage can cause kidney damage. IBUPROFEN. IT IS A MIRACLE. I was able to work as a teacher without pain while it took 2 weeks to pass. Not many doctors know about it. The ER doctor that treated me said he had just read it in a medical journal. That was 7 years ago and another 2 stones. It worked for all three stones. Sorry if this is jumbled. Hard to comment on a phone. Take care!

So question.... I have noticed recently watching a few families that have a baby or are pregnant and take for instance you guys, I am perplexed, literally you guys just had the baby what seems like a month ago and now she's 3 months old? I'm confused. It's the same way with people that I've watched that announced that they're pregnant and I was just watching we're literally he just found out they're pregnant and now they're like in their second trimester, things like that. How long do you guys film these vlogs before you actually post them? That's my question. Because like I said wasn't that long ago or I was watching you all have the baby and she was a newborn newborn and now she's 3 months and some odd days old.
If you look back at the dates of their videos you will find their birthing video marked as three months ago, which is correct :-) but they went a whole month without vlogging after she arrived:) so about a month is missing! They are all in order if you look back and see all the dates:)

I've been saying this the last few years about myself. I'm a blonde with light Blue eyes and my eyes have been really sensitive to the bright sun and outdoors period!!! I always had my head down or shading my eyes from the sun. I wish that my mom and grandparents would have given me sunglasses to wear. I also should have with my kids as well.

A kidney stone only hurts when its moving. So when your hurting Katie the stone is moving through the ureter. If the gave you a strainer you need to strain all your urine so you will know when it passes. And some drs wants you to bring it in to their office so the can send it for a pathology report on it.

Our pediatrician said not to put sunscreen on baby's skin before 6 months. Just an fyi because I didn't know that for a while.
That’s what I heard as well. FYI : No sunscreen until after baby is 6 months old.
She’s not your baby so don’t worry about what they do.
Use a makeup brush to apply the babies sunscreen. It works so good.

For babies at the beach: being a small baby pool and push it into the sand a bit. Fill with a bit of water for the little kids.
Put baby powder in a sock and use it to get sand off your skin.
Pack n play with a fitted crib sheet on top and another on one side for shade and wind works well.
Ah Katie I feel ya with the motion. I went on a tea cup with my son and I usually have Dramamine but I forgot., I just closed my eyes or I focus on the baby and you’ll be good

Take cheap thin baby washcloth, wet both ends & put in a ziplock into the freezer. Take your adult finger around stiff & frozen washcloth, & place on baby’s gums… works so well! Better than teething toys!! Best of luck, she’s

Such a beautiful family! I didn’t know until I became a mom myself 4 months ago but babies under 6 months aren’t supposed to wear sunscreen because their skin barrier is vulnerable to the ingredients in it!
Well somehow for 40 years they’ve survived it and I’m sure theirs will too. 🙄

Cranberry apple juice, by Oceanspray. What the doctor recommended for my son. Seems to dissolve them when he has a flare up.

Katie I get motion sickness too, very easily! Sitting in the passenger seat I get motion sickness. Right before I knew I was pregnant with my daughter I got motion sickness even while driving! It has grown worse with time and she’ll be 6 years old this Friday June 16th. I pray you grow out of the motion sickness.
